I was tranformed in this dream. Completely different but completely the same. I was confused. I needed to understand. Please help me to understand. In my dreams, I'm always more slender and skinny with long curly blonde hair like I did last year. Now I am much more fleshy and big which makes me depressed.

"Who's there?" I whispered frantically as I heard rustling in the brush to my left.

"It's me." He walked through the trees in the moonlight and my heart melted into pieces. He was staring intently at me as he edged his way towards me.

"Hello..." My voice sounded sugary sweet. And I had no hesitation when I spoke to him.

"You don't know how long I've been waiting for you to talk to me." He whispered in my ear. My eyes fluttered closed and I savored this artificial moment, knowing it was not going to last. Realizing that made my eyes water.

"Are you going to leave me?" My eyes batted up to his hazel-green orbs to see his expression. His eyes held a secret, an underlying meaning to something I was missing.

"I must go now, but I will see you tomorrow. And everyday after that I'm sure. But don't forget about me because there is a greater importance to this. Just listen to yourself." His deep, smooth voice chilled me and I grasped every word he had said.

All I could do was nod at him. With his large, capable hands, he seized mine and held me close.  He leaned forward to the left side of my shocked face and his warm lips branded my cheek.  With a sharp intake of breath, I leaned back to stare at him. Why would he kiss my cheek? Does he.... does he like me? There is a possibility and my heart was heated with wonder as I thought this. He released my unwilling hands. In slow motion, they seemed to just echo and glide to my sides.

"Good-bye..." I stammered, crushed as he turned his back to me and walked to the place he came.

Before he disappeared completely, he turned and smiled a deliberate, white, toothy smile that made my heart thump erratically. I tried to smile back, but I couldn't.

This dream had me concerned for the next few days. I didn't know what to expect. I thought maybe he would talk to me or wave in the hall. But he doesn't know me from Eve. He doesn't know I exist. Maybe I could talk to Miles or Kasey about this... Or not...
