We're said to be free and freedom is given

Yet we're deprived of such rights when it's not seen to be right

So how do we have free will?

When our wills are decided

By others that have no care for you

No sorrow to feel for you

We see birds fly high without care

They're free like how I want to be

Yet the sky is their limit

They have chains that tie them down

They can't explore further or go down

So how do they have free will?

When their wills are decided

By a superior force that can't be all knowing

Because if all knowing is a state

Then surely, he should know that we don't have free-will

But he's the one who gave it to us, so then he isn't all knowing

Because he is wrong

Free will is all an illusion that we like to believe

Because reality has us chained down and the only way we can escape

Is to believe we have free-will every now and then
