Sandra was in the kitchen cooking for her little sisters  when a sudden sound loudly errupted outside the door. She wasn't expectinng anyone that afternoon. Her parents worked for a rich African family in Johannesburg... they only came back home every Wednesday afternoon. Her father worked as a driver for the family  and her mom worked in the kitchens. She wondered who would possibly visit them at that time of the day... they had relatives alright... but none of them really cared about them. Why?? Because.. welll... its a long complicated story that needs to be explained sometime in the future. As for now... Sandra is in grade 10  and her siblings attend a day care center in the township. She has looked after her little sisters since she was 13 and they were 3. They knew  her more than their parents. She is a straight B Student in her current High School called Montana High. She always felt she could do better if she didnt have so much laid on her shoulders. Bang bang bang. The loud noise awakes her from her thoughts... she peeps through a hole on the side of the door... its her parents' boss. She quickly opens the door and she showers them with respectful greetings...  'little girl, we come with very sad news', says the impatient owner. At first  she couldn't hear anything. The loud voices of children screaming and their parents shouting at them to stop made it almost impossible to hear anything. Sandra hoped that her parents were back home.. only earlier this time. But something about the 2 employers seemed really off. She could see they way his throat looked a bit swelled and lips like... well... a door banging, locked and trying to open up.  He looks like his  throat is caught up with words. He looks like he's searching for the right words... but he cant seem to find them..... The first thought that comes into her mind is her parents... 'where's my mom and dad' The women whispers words to his husband she couldn't comprehend herself. Sandra starts to feel off... awefully silenced.. she tries to move... slowly she feels faint... loosing her balance. The words almost took her own life.. 'your parents are dead and they left you with this...' says the man.  And just like that... Things will never be the same again.
