The fanon for this story was created in 2003 when I wrote Gold Tinted Spectacles, prior to the release of Half Blood Prince, so it does not take into account anything we have learned after Order of the Phoenix. It does not use Horcruxes, Dumbledore didn't die etc, and so it is completely AU after OOTP. This includes all the information about birthdays etc that came after the books.
It only took me 12 years to get round to finishing it! ;-)
