There i was innocent as i could be not until she walked into my life with all her promises
she promised to be with me, through thick or thin
And no matter the whether,
she assured me we were always going to be together forever.
she promised me our time together she was going to savor,
because i was her man of valor
she promised me that our journey of love was her only path,
and to always be with me till death do us part.
she promised that her friends attacks no matter how formidable,
was never going to be a problem because her love for me was indomitable.
it took me time to realize
that all her promises were lies
and that she was the sailor who came to drown my titanic of love
