Dear Diary,

   Ive just moved here a month ago and I dont have any friends! im serious! its like im invisible or the whole school doesn't know I exist. I have one friend, but shes a bit off in the head. Whenever I try to talk about something serious with her, she just talks about herself. Its not easy having a so called 'best friend' who only talks about herself.

   Anyway,  in further news, Auntie Carol is having a baby!!! Her new boyfriend moved in with her last week and she annouced yesterday about the baby. its due in about 8 1/2 months. Im so happy for them. They are starting their very own family.

   I must go diary, I need my sleep. I have a big day tomorrow as I must do my speech in English about my favourite actor. I dont even know why its on our favourite actor, why not do it on something like a book? oh well. Atleast I can tell them all about Will Smith. Eeek!! I cant wait.

The next morning I woke up to my alarm clock at 7:15. I got up, showered, and got changed into my uniform. I went downstairs and saw my dad sitting at the breakfast table, reading the news off his tablet. I think that was the best present I've ever bought him. Since I've bought it, he hasnt put it down. He takes it to work, uses it in the bath, and even in the car! Since it is just me and dad in the house, I think it keeps him company.

"Your breakfast is on the table darling. Tonight, I will be home late, about 9 ish as I have a big meeting in work. There's £10 I put in your school purse to buy some chips on the way home for dinner. You will be alright, wont you?"

My dad is a police officer and is always late home so its no shock to me, but atleast I know that he cares.

"Yes dad, its hardly a change. But thanks for the money. Do you want me to buy you some aswell?"

"No sweetie, im alright." He answered.

    With that, the doorbell rung. It was Shannon. (Thats my lunatic friend who always talks about herself.)

"Bye dad, see you tonight." I shouted.

I closed the door behind me and put my backpack on my back. I walked down the drive and met Shannon.

"Hey girlfriend! Guess whos got us 2 dates tonight?! meeee!!!!"

She sounded very excited, but I was curious who they were.

"Cool, who are they though?" I asked curiously.

"Well, Caz obviously for me, coz like, hes my boyfriend, and your going out with Sean tonight!!!!"

   NO NO NO!!!! NOT SEAN!!! ANYONE BUT SEAN!!!! I absolutely hate Sean!!! He has a massive crush on me, and he's horrible and gross, and ewwwww!!! (plus, I fancy someone else but I would never tell Shannon that!)

"oh, I cant sorry, im busy tonight, im going out with my dad. Sorry, tell him I said no." I replied.

  I never lie to Shannon, but I had to, I couldnt go out with Sean!!!

   We arrived at school, and instantly I saw someone eyeing me up and down, looking at me, every inch of me. Then, I realised who it was.

"BETHANY!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed.

"RUBY!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She replied screaming.

I ran up to her and gave her a massive hug.

" I knew you would come!!!!! I've missed you so much!!!" I said, muffled by her long, glossy hair.

Bethany was my LTBFFFL. (long term best friend forever for life) in primary school. When I left for high school, she was devastated,  and I haven't managed to stay in contact. But I dont have to now!
