Chapter 21

Monday, September 8th 9:16am
Lauren woke up as early as usual and did her work out stuff. She was showered, dressed and fed by 8:30am she decided to go the beach and clear her mind before school. She planned on being late anyway because she didn't really want to deal with Josh trying to apologize, she didn't want to see him. She left the beach at about 9:05am and made it to the school by 9:16am, she kept her shades on her face and her headphones in her ears. Once she was in class she removed one of her headphones so she could hear the teacher's boring lecture.

Lauren managed to make it to lunch without having to talk to Josh, he wasn't in second period for some reason not that she cared. It was now lunch and Lauren was in the music room just listening to music. She luckily didn't have to talk to Ashton or Calum during first period because they had group work to do and the boys were placed in a different group then her, and she made sure to race out of the class before they could catch her when the bell rang.

Third period was five minutes away and she knew she couldn't avoid confrontation any longer so she just prepared herself. The bell rang and she was the last one in the room, she sat down and just let the music flood her. "Laur babe, what's going on?" Ashton asked hesitantly and softly "I..I don't wanna talk about it, or at all for that matter. So please just leave it." He replied with an 'ok' and let her be. Camila noticed Lauren's body language and felt the need to isolate her so no one would bother her, but she had to give instructions first. "Laur you don't have to tell us what's wrong with you but why the HECK haven't you answered your phone bro? That's uncalled for." Calum pestered "I turned it off." Lauren replied with no emotion "and you didn't think you should have kept it on?! Especially since you left the party without telling anyone. Seriously what the heck is-" Ashton cut him off "Calum shut up bro, now is not the time. Chill, somethings up so respect her feelings, don't make it worse." He nodded his head not saying another word. "Lauren," Camila called and Lauren turned her head to look at her, Camila used her finger to motion for Lauren to come to her. "Bring your stuff." Lauren did as told, not really in the mood to argue. Once she got to Camila's desk she waited for her to say something "Come sit up here, you don't look like you're in the mood to be bothered." Lauren sat down in the chair beside Camila's chair thankful that Camila understood. They sat in silence for a moment before Camila spoke up "Do you wanna talk about it?" Lauren shook her head "If I talk about it I might cry." "Text it to me then?" Lauren nodded and turned her phone on and almost one hundred messages popped up but she ignored them and opened her messages with Camila and started typing.

No. & I don't really know what to do. I mean I love him and I want to be with him but Idk if I can forgive him..

Well I'm not really good at advice but if it were me in your position, I would hear him out. Everyone deserves a second chance but if you feel like what he did is unforgivable then move on.

Camila was furious that Josh would cheat on someone as great and as kind hearted as Lauren. She wanted to tell her to dump the poor excuse of a boy but she knew it wasn't her decision.

Lauren's POV

I decided to take Ms. Cabello's advice and hear Josh out even though at the moment it was the last thing I wanted to do. The bell rang and Josh was waiting outside the door for me, he asked if we could talk and I just nodded my head. He apologized and said he was drunk and he didn't mean for it to happen and that he'd be very grateful for a second chance. I thought about it for a few seconds and decided to give him another chance but I told him that he has to earn my trust back after what he did but told him I forgive him.

Saturday, September 13th 7:45am
Camila woke up early to see Tori off as the blonde had an early flight to Tennessee to start off her interviews for the next three days. Her flight was scheduled to leave at 10am so that she reached her destination 12pm, get situated in her hotel and then head to her first interview of the day. Camila was currently driving her the airport, "So off to Tennessee for interviews huh?" Camila broke their comfortable silence "Yeah, I've got like two or three interviews there." "Are they spread across the three days you're gonna be gone or do you have to go to different locations?" "Different locations, it starts in Tennessee then I head to New York for interviews and then to Atlanta for a few before I'm back in Miami." "Sounds boring." "Ehh it all depends on whether or not I get asked the same questions or if they have little games to play during them."
