My mother and siblings had gone off into the forest for hunting hours ago. It wouldn't suprise me if they never came back. I was left here to make my family dinner, as always. I never get to go anywhere with them. I asked to come this time, but I already knew the answer. "No!!" Mother had shouted. She kicked me back and told me have dinner ready by the time they got back, or else she would turn me into the capitol. The capitol is where I live with my mother and my two siblings. The capitol is surrounded by endless forest, and lots of Pokemon inhabit it. In the center of the capitol, there is an ancient tree. That tree is named 'The Tree'. As clever as our king is, he is terrible at names. If you were lucky enough to find a clearing in the forest, you could see a large mountain range called 'Mountain Clan'. It was beautiful, how to clouds swirled around in the sky slowly with the wind and the trees just peaking over the horizon. I went Mountain Clan once. On my first birthday, my father took me there. Before he died. My father is long gone, he was a rebel. A rebel is a Pokemon who stands up against the capitol and says they disagree with one of their rules. My dad stood up to the capitol... the penalty for that is death, most of the the time. Rebels get thrown into the Battle Circle, a small arena for Pokemon battling. The rebels are throw up against a strong Pokemon, usually a royal guard, and the rebels chance of winning is very small. Nobody has ever survived this penalty. My father died this way after he was found giving food to slaves behind everyone's back. Shinies are all slaves. I am a slave, to my mother because I am shiny. My mother is a Leafeon, and I have two siblings. My coat is white and sparkly, and the other eevees had a brown coat and a cream colored mane. There is a rumor that the Kings adopted daughter, Kadenza, was a rebel and was kicked out of the kingdom. I don't believe that rumor, they would have made her a slave or killed her for everyone to see. There's no real history of the princess dying or being inslaved. Shes probably still alive, shes only been gone for 7 years. Of course, there's still a princess. Kadenza's sister, Mary. The king had two adopted daughters, Mary is the admin of the Battle Circle. I hate her with every bone in my body... she watched my father die and smiled. There's always been something... off about her. That look in her eyes is unsettling to say the least. Speaking of rumors, there's another rumor that the two princesses had a shiny brother. He was an umbreon, and he was killed by the king. I don't believe that either, because it would be in history books, and lots would have seen it. I started to clean up, dinner was ready for my family, they would probably be back soon.
