On the way to the nearest Dairy Queen, Katelyn and I shared hilarious stories from school to Kaii. He reached over to hand as I laughed in the seat next to him. He slowly intertwines his fingers with mine. I blush hard like I did before and he laughs.

"What?" I say.

"Oh nothing, just you," he smiles.

"What do you mean?"

"You're just a cute person."

"Well then. . ." I roll my eyes.

"What? You have a problem with me calling you cute?" Kaii asked.

"N-No. . . Not at all. . ." I stutter.

He giggled as Katelyn looked back at us through the mirror.

"You guys are too darn cute together, ya know that?" she laughed.

"Yeah, we know," I replied back to Katelyn, laughing.

I didn't get a Blizzard because I didn't want to eat too much ice cream. My parents were planning to go out to dinner with Kaii and me later that night anyway. Instead, I got a small vanilla cone, which Kaii kept staring at me for. I was a little confused at first until a noticed him blushing as I kept licking the ice cream slowly. I look directly at him, eye to eye, and he turns away.

"What now?" I ask.

"N-Nothing. . ." he stutters.

"Un-huh," I giggled.

"Oh, shut up"

"Make me," I smirk. Then Kaii looks back at me and smirks too.

"Don't even dare. Not in my car," Katelyn responds.

We all laugh and keep eating our ice cream.

Katelyn drives around the town to let Kaii see all the other stores and restaurants through the window. I watch Kaii looking out the window. I notice the light from the sunset in his eyes. Glistening like emerald jewels; he's so handsome. I feel my heart pounding, I don't think about Katelyn being in the car with us. All I can think about is kissing him again. The world felt unreal once more, silent and still. I lost focus of anything else happening around me for the moment. I wanted to keep getting lost in his prince-like eyes. Kaii turned around and looked at me then smiled. I blushed for the thousandth time and turned away, looking out the window. He slid his hand towards mine and held it again. He gripped my hand tighter and looked out the window once more.
