Chapter fourteen

Victor's P.O.V (Cyborg)

I woke up in a strange cave like structure with several blurry figures standing around myself and the other Titans.

"Batman," a young female voice stated, "This one's awake."

I sat up and looked around at my surroundings, the voice belonged to a girl around Robbin's age dressed in a purple and yellow version of Batman's cape and suit.

"Where are we?" I asked and to my surprise it was Robbin's groggy voice that answered.

"We're in the bat cave Cyborg," he stated as he too sat up, "As for how we got here I don't have any answers."

"But I do," a gruff almost gravely voice stated, "Batgirl go get the others," the girl in purple nodded before heading towards what appeared to be a set of stairs. "Robbin," BAtman sighed, "Maybe it's best if we wait for the others to wake up before we explain everything."

Robbin snorted, "There's nothing to explain," he snarled, "Dove lied to us and she betrayed us!"

"And just how did she betray us?" Raven asked as she sat up, soon followed by Starfire, Jynx, and Beast Boy.

"Ya Robbin, what gives?" Jynx asked, "If who Jade's parents are bothers you that much then why am I, a former villain, a part of the team?"

"Or Raven," Star stated, "Her father tried to kill us," she shivered, "More than once, yet you except her."

"It's different!" Robbin yelled.

"How?" this came from Beast Boy, and seemed to shock us all, "How is this any different Robbin? How is Dove's situation any different?" he looked up from his now clenched fists with blood shot and tear filled eyes. "Now I know," he choked up for a second, "Now I know why she was so shut in, why she was so protective of her memories," he shook his head, "She was trying not to turn out like them, but they're her family and she loves them." another head shake.

"How," he sniffled, "How could you possibly say she betrayed us, when all she's done is try to protect herself from this exact sort of treatment!" by this point he was slightly shaking, "If anything we betrayed her! We could have stopped them, but instead we got over confident and got our butts handed to us! SO DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT SHE BETRAYED US!" there was a slow clapping sound from behind us that followed his outburst. Then when I turned around to look I nearly passed out again.

"Very well said young man," Superman stated as more members of the Justice League wandered in, "Now tell me," he smiled, "How do you propose we rescue your team mate?"
