The next morning I got up before the sun was up and got ready for the hunt. I had been on a hunt in years. I walked down the halls to the Armory. When I got down there there was no one there. I walked around and looked at all the weapons. I held some of the swords to see the balance but then I found the weapon I would be using a cross bow. There was about a dozen or so hanging on the wall. As I looked at the I noticed a small beam of sunlight shining through a small window. The sun was rising since we would be leaving soon I went to the stables to see my horse.  He was a beautiful stallion with a coat as black as night. I decided that before the hunt I would go for a ride. I saddle up my house and left. When I returned they were getting ready for the hunt.

"Princess there you are we have been searching the castle for you" Arthur said coming up to me and my horse

"I am sorry if I scared you my lord I just wanted to go for a ride around the village to see the people"

"No no it's fine," he said "Percival get the princess a cross bow please"

"It fine I can get one my self" I said climbing off the horse but by the time I got to the Armory all the cross bows were gone and the men had left to meet Arthur.

"Find what you were looking for" a familiar voice said from behind me

I turned around and Percival was standing in the door way smirking. "All of them are gone I can not join in the hunt."

"Don't be so sure, I as a feeling you weren't going to get one in time so I grabbed one for you " he said as he pulled a cross bow from behind his back.

"I don't know whether to hate you or thank you"

"Do both because we have to go" he said turning to let me out of the room

We hurried down the corridor back to our horses. When we're ready and on our horses we all headed for the forest. We had been out there for most of the morning and caught no sight of any deer or rabbits or any wildlife at all. When we were just about to give up and head back I caught sight of a deer in the distance "Arthur there in the distance". We took off at lightning speed toward the deer "Arthur what if we split up we can surround it"

"Good idea, Percival, Gwen, Leon you go with the princess the rest of you come with me"

Percival, Gwen, Leon and I rode searching for the deer but we lost sight of it. We were heading back to regroup with the others when something spooked Leon horse which sent him flying into a tree knocking him out. "Leon"I yell quickly getting off my horse. Percival and Gwen stopes there horses and quickly got off. I look at the wound on Leon head. It wasn't a fatal wound but it would leave a scar. We got him onto my horse and I climbed on behind him to make sure he would be ok. Percival took the reigns of my horse and his own and walked us back towards Camelot. Gwen did the same with his and Leon horse. All the others were waiting for us at the gate. They got him off the horse and brought him inside to there physician. Percival helped me off my horse then we gave the horses to the servants and rush inside to see Leon. "Is he okay" I asked Gaius the physician.

Yes he will be alright" Gaius said

I sat by his side and waited for him to wake up. I barely knew Leon but it was my fault he was lying there unconscious with a gash on his head. I was the one who said we should split up. I should have been the one lying on the bed unconscious. I stayed there for the rest of the day and just before sundown Percival came into Gaius's workshop.

"You okay" he asked walking up to me

"I don't know, it my fault he is like this. I wish there was something I could do for him. " I told Percival.

"It's not your fault. You didn't know his horse would get spooked. Besides Gaius said he would be fine. Come on you should get some rest."  He said putting out his hand to me

"Ok I guess you are right" I said taking his hand. He escorted me to my room. It had been a long time since Percival and I had walked together like this. I enjoy it, it was fun and relaxing. It reminded me of when we were kids playing in the fields and then walking home just before dark to get dinner. Now Percival and I could barely even be seen with each other because I was a princess and he was only a knight. We reached my door and said goodnight and we went our separate ways. The next morning as I was looking out the window over the kingdom a knock came at my door. My servant Liya went to open the door.

My I have a word with her highness please" a voice said

My lady someone wishes to speak with you" Liya said

I turned to see who it was and standing in the door way was Sir Leon "Liya that will I be all" I said

"Yes my lady" she responded leaving the room.

Well you look well" I said turning back to Leon.

I guess I have you to thank for that" he responded

"I just made sure we got you to Gaius." I responded to him

Not what I heard." He boasted

"Well I am just happy that  you are alive and well" I said walking up to him and giving him a hug. He hugged me back and we hugged untile pulled away.

"I should get to training" he said heading for the door

Yeah," I said standing there watching him "Leon"

"Yeah" he said turning back to me

"Be careful"

"I will"

He left my room and I went back to looking out the window.
