heaven found herself under a tree bigger than her apartment. within minutes heaven was lost in her filming. she got a shot of the birds in the sky, the flowers blowing in the wind, pulling grass out of the ground, and anything else that she thought would look good. 

hours went by and heaven still had the video camera set in her hands as she looked up towards the trees. A boy stood there and watched as she was so into what she was filming, and he couldn't help but wonder what the girl was taping. 

he takes a step forward, and hesitates to ask, "What are you filming?" His voice catches heaven by surprise. She looks over to the boy who asked, and her face softens as she lowers the camera, without shutting it off. 

"i'm making a film about love," she smiles.

"and what exactly is love?" he asks.

"i don't exactly know, but i'll tell you when i find out." she laughs.

"sounds like a plan," he chuckles. heaven just laughed and went back to pointing her camera up to the trees. the boy was upset their conversation didn't last longer so he says, "i'm riley."

heaven turns around once more and smiles at riley, "hi riley, i'm heaven."

"heaven?" he smiles, "that makes sense, because you must be what heaven looks like."

heaven's cheeks turned red as the boy kept smiling at her. 

heaven looked down at her phone and realized it's almost seven o'clock. 

"well, riley, it was nice meeting you but i gotta get back to my apartment." heaven hurries off and walks out of the park, leaving riley there alone. 

riley could not believe how beautiful that girl was. he pulled out his phone and his heart immediately dropped as soon as he realized he never got her number.

heaven walked into her apartment and as she threw her keys down on the table she was taking out her camera. she took a seat on the couch and turned on the camera. 

she sighed as she went through her footage, she barely got any good shots. just as she was ready to shut off her camera she realized she got her entire conversation with riley on tape. 

"and what exactly is love?" his voice replayed on the little screen of heaven's camera. she smiled at the sound of his voice before shutting off her camera.

a/n: this is a short chapter, but i'm super excited for the next chapter!!! it'll be way longer than this one, the chapters will get longer as i go on, don't worry.
