Compositional Defiance

A Note From Our Author

Last year, I had the amazing opportunity to write the short story "Our Place in Space" for General Electric's "Adventures in Science" campaign. I had such a blast writing it and thinking about ways I could use the amazing technologies GE is coming up with in my story, and I have been secretly wishing for another opportunity to work with GE and their innovations ever since.

GE must have engineered some sort of mind reading device, because nearly a year after I began writing about Johnny's journey to self and work-acceptance in "Our Place in Space," I was contacted by GE again! Only this time, I would be working with a real GE scientist on a story about composite manufacturing. I could not have been more excited or thankful!

I absolutely love working with GE and I hope that shines through in my newest story featuring GE's innovative technologies, "Compositional Defiance."
