The darkness was thick and suffocating, like a heavy blanket had been thrown on the world. He had to get over the wall, had to get across the border before the Arkanians men would notice his traces of escape.

Alfred breathed in and out heavy shallow breaths before he was balancing on the wall, one side leading to a hopeful future to discover his past secrets, the other led to sudden death because of his idiocy attempts and criminalisim that led him to this point.

After taking in a sharp breath he jumped down into the slight buff of snow that cushioned his slightly high fall. Quickly scurrying up like an animal he started to sprint from away the boarder, his lungs already burnt from the eastern side, unlike the west which was already having it's spring jubilee. After he felt like he wasn't going to get hunted down. he slowed and paused by a tree taking in some breathes.

His eyes gazed over the lush, and raw greenery. Even the smell of it was intoxicating, it smelled so overwhelmingly comforting and relaxing for Alfred who had missed that sensation for many years.

He let his body collapse to the earth so suddenly and rolled on his back taking in the smell he ran his fingers through it and quickly tugged off his boots and socks, tossing them aside before he let his feet and hands touch the cool bladed shrubbery. The tingling sensation of the cool plant life touching his skin was oddly satisfying.

He paused to look at the night sky that was turning into morning dusk, it's soft voilet colors turning pink ever so subtly. He felt his eyes widen with awe before he slowly rolled over sitting up after there was something in the bushes, bustling loud enough to startle him. He looked and tried to find something to protect himself with...a rock? or a stick?

He hushed his breathing slightly to listen for movements, of course when he used the rock and tossed it at the bush, the bush replied with an outcry of pain.

"Ow! I-I have a sheild mother-faka...!" cried out the figure who was hiding behind a rather ordinary wooden board.

Alfred stared at him curiously before he spoke up in a soft voice. " W-Who are you? tell me and I won't hit you with my-" he gazed at the stick and smirked, "-My large sword!"

The figure trembled and started to beg, " Oh no! f-forgive me great knight! I-I'm just a weak...g-good for nothing villiger...f-forgive me for such a great misunderstanding as-"

Alfred walked up to him whilst the man pleaded for his life, before poking him with the stick making the man release a girlish scream, dropping the wood board and cringed up his body. Alfred stared at him before snorting and chuckling.

" E-Eh?" the man stuttered before getting a close look at the tall man before him. " W-What!? your not a knight!" he stammered slightly shocked and embarassed.

Alfred wiped his joyful tears of satisfaction and threw the stick away. " Sorry. Your not hurt from the rock are you?"

The young man frowned, " It hit me....on my head. Of course i'm hurt...but....I guess I should thank you for asking sir."

Alfred nodded. " Right, so um....where is the nearest vill-"

He paused when he noticed the young man look at him wide eyed, flabbergasted letting his mouth hand open slightly. Alfred casually waved his hand in front of the young mans face.

"Um...Hello? sir?"

The young man gripped Alfred's face pulling it close to his as he stared directly into his blue orbs with his green ones. A small tinge of excitment danced across his face. " L-Le....Your the legendary Blue eyed Spirit warrior!" he squeaked out.

Alfred raised an eyebrow, " Legendary blue what?"

The young man gripped his hands, " I-I can't believe it! I mean i've read about your kind and thought it was a folklore....a legend! but really, people with blue eyes do exist!"

Alfred was lost in this mans excited fanboygasm. Of course he watched him before finally grabbing his shoulder, "What do you mean? Please I need to know just what your talking about!"

The young man nodded, " Of course! I have a library inside my cottage! you can look up my studies and research there!"

Alfred nodded, "Alright then let's go-"

The young man paused, his face quickly drained from excitment and switch to panic and worry.

" Aagh! wait um.....hmm Ah! let me check my satchel for some extra contacts!"

Alfred stared at him as he dug threw a simple brown satchel that looked worn from many uses. His hands moved quickly before pulling out a simple black box that had three specific colors. Violet, Green and Brown.

After he pulled out a voilet pair and handed them to Alfred, " Put these on quickly!"

Alfred stared at them and pursed his lips before sighing, " Fine..." Quickly he took off his glasses and placed the contacts on his eyes like he had to as a small child.

He glanced at the young man, " So....Whats with the multiple colored contacts? and uh...who are you?"

The young man looked at him and nodded. " My name is Toris. As for the answer to your first question...you'll have to come with me. If someone were to hear our conversation...there would be an uproar of questions and that always leads to bad things happening."

Alfred looked at him and nodded slowly, " Well....okay then..."

Toris glanced at him, " Don't worry. You'll be safe with me-"

Alfred snorted, " Yeah It's not that i'm worried about you robbing me or anything since I've got nothing put my clothes on my back and name......and you don't look to be the type to hurt even a fly."

Toris frowned and looked irked, " I-Is that so? well then lets just get going okay?"

Alfred innocently followed while chuckling as he whispered, " You looked really excited, it surprised me."

Toris looked away blushing, holding up his wooden bored, " I-I have a shield mother-fucka...." he mumbled.
