Chapter 2- The World Beyond

I woke up scratching my head...

Where Am I?

I looked around..

It was a dark and dirty place. It was like a war had just finished...

What am I wearing?

A Kimono??!!

I don't recall wearing a kimono..

Matsumi's POV

"He's persistent" I said while tying my patch.

"Where is Tadoki-kun?" Ken asked.

"Far away. And he won't come back!" I shouted at him.

"What??" he said confused.

It happened again...

He fainted just like what happened

I looked at their bodies lying on the floor..

Will they not come back... Just like what happened to her..

Tadoki's POV

I stood up and moved forward.

Where is This?

Something jumped from my back

"Hi" a little person. As big as my hand (chibi) said.

He was floating

"Waaaah" I shouted moving backward.

"I'm Bob. Nice to meet ya'" he said.

His name and face sounds and looks so familiar...

"What are you?" I asked

"I am the guardian of this game. Well, I mean there are a LOT of us but I will be your guardian" he said.

"And you are?" he asked.

"Oh sorry! I'm Tadoki" I said.

"Now let me explain everything to you.." Bob said.

"I've downloaded the manual in your watch, open it!" he said.

I looked to my wrist and found a watch. But I never recalled wearing it...

There was a button on it so I clicked it.

A hologram appeared right in front of me..

"Here is your current health" he said pointing at the 100%.

"And here is your level" he said pointing at the lvl. 1.

"If ya' fight monsters you'll earn points and eventually move to the next level, In every level you can unlock a certain weapon, or a certain item. For instance, at level 50 you can unlock the ring of the angel which reduces your oponents damage to you by 20%" he explained.

"And oh! this is your inventory" he said pointing to the empty squares.

"I'm gonna send your weapon" he said tapping to his watch.

Suddenly a sword appeared at one of the empty boxes

"Just think of the sword and it will appear on your hands" he said.

We heard footsteps..

" Intruders" he said.

I clicked the button on my watch again and the hologram dissapeared.

We hid beside the car.

"Really, Hauru" a really familiar voice said.

"Oh! It was just Hauru" Bob said.

Bob jumped and shouted

"Oi Hauru!" he said waving his hand.

"Bob!" Hauru shouted flying towards Bob.

I peeped and saw Ken and another little guy like Bob.

"Ken" I shouted.

He wasn't wearing a kimono but an armor.

"Good for you. Ya don't need to wear kimonos.." I said.

he laughed.

"That's because your elements are different" Bob said.

"What do you mean?" I asked curiosly.

"What I mean is clothes customination depends on your element" Bob explained.

"Your friend Ken, is a Tornado type which means he has to wear an armor. While you are a General type, which has to wear a kimono" he explained further.

He heard footsteps again..

This time it was different..

Matsumi's POV

*Flashback*

"Honey hide in the closet and don't make any noise!" my mom ordered.

I peeped in the keyhole and watched mom panic.

A guy with a gun entered the room.

Those killings.

Those horrible memories.

No matter how many times I take it out of my mind... I just can't

I saw my mom lying dead on the floor.

Fresh blood came out of her and was scatterring on the floor.

I was crying.

As quiet as I could.

I think that the guy still heard me.

Because he was approaching me.

My dad entered and hit the guy's head

"RUN, Matsumi,RUN!!!!" my dad demanded.

I ran and got outta the room I was crying.

But I was desperate to get out of the house.

I heard a shot of a gun.

I was near the gate when...

"No you won't" the guy said holding my arm as tight as possible.

He dragged me to his car and I went into a strange lab.

"Your parents has a large debt on me" a guy with a stitch on his head and was bald told me

He was sitting down.

"But before I kill you, I want to test if my new invention would work or not" he said grining..
