That Night

I can remember the day
You first stole my heart
I was looking at the moon
And falling apart

Then you came up to me
And demanded what is wrong

You kept asking all night long

When I finally told you
You grinned and rolled your eyes
Then you asked me out
On an "Icy date" to my surprise

We sat at the skate park
Under the white moon

I remember staring
Into your deep brown eyes
And getting lost in them
As they grew in size

making you blush
