A deep sigh was heard, that was coming from Hans' mother. She fell weak and fragile after an accident. Hans' remembered her joyful singing as she was trying to put him to sleep. Her soft hands covers his ears whenever there's thunder and lighting.

Until one day her mother's fate changed forever.

Her mother was with his father at the backseats of the car. His father hugged her mother in joy for winning the Queen title. She carefully held the trophy as she was going to show it to his 13th son. She was about to smile when their car crashed to another.

---

"Her vital signs are normal now; she's still unconscious but expect her to wake up within 24 hours." The doctor said as he checked the pulse of the lady. Silence filled the room and only the beep can be heard. "Excuse me.." The doctor said and left.

---

"Mommy!!" A seven year old Hans entered his mother's room, crying, he ran to his mother. "Come now Hans! You're such a baby." Hans' older brother said. "Well, he is still my baby. Now you two, go along and stop making your baby brother cry."
The two boys left and Hans hugged his mother. "Mum, when I grow up I'll be a doctor so you don't have to go to the hospital anymore.."
His mother smiled and said, "-and I'll be your mother so you don't have to cry anymore."
"Muuum!" Hans yelled and pouted. His mother laughed and kissed his cheeks.

Hans freshly remembered his memories of his mother. His mother passed away last month and that left him devastated. After his mother died, he left the mansion and moved to an apartment. His father had hated him, for he did nothing for the betterment of their company and was labeled as the complete failure of the family. His father had his favorites and successors, and he haven't had the chance to be either.

Hans was sitting inside a cafe when two guys in suits entered.

"Hey Hansie." A guy greeted from behind. Hans didn't look back, the voice was too familiar he suddenly got annoyed. "You enjoy the life of a couch potato now?" The other guy said. Hans ignored his two older brothers, to him, all they ever did was to make him feel unloved and unwanted. "Not even a single glance, huh? Dad was right, what bum." He added.

"We'll go ahead Hans. I just want to let you know that father wants to see you. Tomorrow evening, a party will be held by, of course, our household. Be there Hans, and try to redeem yourself. Show father what you're worth." His other brother said and tapped Hans' shoulder twice. Hans could hear their footsteps fading, and he slowly turned to look at his brothers that was leaving.

"Right." Hans mumbled, as he turned his head back to his phone. He hesitantly dialed Elsa's number.

"Hello?" A girl answered the phone. "Hans?" She added.

"Hey Elsa.. I know you just got home but do you mind accompanying me tomorrow night?"

"Oh, I'll look into it. What's it about?"

"I'll introduce you to my family." Hans replied and smiled.

"Wha- Why?" Elsa surprisingly asked. Hans could hear Elsa's tone of confusion and said, "I just want to let them know that I'm currently working with the Ice Queen."

"..."

Hans sipped on his coffee as he waited for Elsa's reply. "I'll try to be there.." Elsa replied in a whisper.
"Okay, be in formal wear. I'll be in front of your house by 8 o'clock pm."

"So I guess, I'll see you tomorrow night?"

"Tomorrow night, it is. See you." Hans said and smiled.

"See ya'"

"Bye." They both said.
