REQUEST: Jason - Daughter of Poseidon - First Kiss - Awkward Fluff - Friends to Lovers - Requested by Anon

"Jason, I'm bored," you whined, hanging off the side of your best friend's bed. Jason looked over at you from his desk, where he was doing homework (nerd), and just sighed. You looked at him, hoping that he would get up and say something like, 'let's go be dangerous then!' But, that wasn't how Jason worked.

"Well, that's too bad, isn't it?" He turned back to his homework and you huffed, sitting up, slightly dizzy from being upside down. He continued to work on his homework and finally, you gave up, standing up.

"Fine, I'll go hang out with Percy then," you stated, walking to the front door of Cabin 1. "Hashtag- Mrs. Steal Yo Bro." Jason hummed in response and continued to work, making you steam a little bit. You brushed the anger off and walked out of the cabin, eager to hang out with your brother.

You walked to Cabin 3, your obviously favourite cabin, and stepped into the surprisingly clean cabin. You glanced around to see that Percy was on his knees, half way under the bed, cursing like a sailor and throwing stuff out from under his bed. Panic! At The Disco blasted from his stereo and you were surprised you didn't hear the music from outside. And, he hadn't noticed you come in.

You kicked Percy's side lightly, making him jump. A loud thump sounded, with a curse following that and Percy getting out from under the bed, rubbing his head, groaning. He touched pause on his iPod, stopping the music abruptly.

"Ow! Dude, that hurts, man." Percy glanced up at you and you rolled your eyes at the sight of your brother, who was still calling everything 'bro', 'dude', or 'man'. (It was a dare from Jason, of course).

"Percy, I'm bored."

"That's too bad," he replied. "If you want to help clean the cabin, you can. I mean, it is your cabin, too..." Percy had a thing about sharing the cabin and didn't really like sharing with you just because you were either a clean-freak or a slob. It really just depended on your mood.

"You seem perfectly fine yourself," you replied snarkily. "But, maybe I can rant to you about a certain son of Zeus," you said, sighing and collapsing onto your bed.

"Jupiter," Percy corrected, sitting on the ground, beginning to organize through the random crap on the floor. "But, rant away..."

"Okay, so he barely even hangs out with anyone anymore! I can't stand it," you said, exasperated. You sighed and looked at your half-brother, who was flipping through a textbook, probably Annabeth's.

"He has a lot of homework, (your first initial). He's having a hard enough time with homework and school while being at camp and knowing that a certain child of Poseidon has the biggest crush on him." He looked at you, frowning.

"Oh, which one of us," you asked, a teasing tone. The bromance between Jason and Percy was real.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about. He knows you like him. I mean, you are his best friend but, still. He knows." Percy just looked at you, watching your face go red.

"Am I really that obvious?"

"No," Percy replied, "But you're that oblivious. Have you not seen that he likes you back?" You continued to blush at Percy's statement, looking at him.

"I honestly don't believe you. He can't like me. And, he just broke up with Piper. That's a pretty fast rebound," you replied.

"No, he broke up with her because of you. He likes you and she was jealous and... Yeah..." He faded out, becoming more interested in an old lunch box. His nose wrinkled up and you gagged, smelling the very old lunch.

"Yeah, okay. Thanks, I'm going to go talk to him," you said quickly. You stood up, walking to the door and ruffling his hair before leaving.

"Bye, sis. Good luck," he muttered. You rolled your eyes and exited the cabin, walking back over to Cabin 1. You were nervous. Although, you didn't really show it, you didn't know how to react to Jason liking you back. You had liked him for a short time and honestly didn't think you had a chance with him. But, wasn't that everyone?

You knocked on the door of Cabin 1, Jason opening it almost immediately. He looked extremely flustered, his hair ruffled and messy and his face red. His breath was staggered and he honestly looked so frazzled.

"Jay... Are you alright?"

"Uh, yeah. I'm fine. I was just about to come and talk to you," he replied quickly. He even sounded flustered. You frowned at Jason.

"Okay. Well, same. But, you can go first," you said, really not wanting to say anything yet. Jason nodded and opened his door wider, motioning for you to come in. You walked in, taking a seat on his desk, crossing your legs and watching the boy. He ran a hand through his hair, obviously nervous. You had seen him like this before. On the outside, Jason was calm and collected but, he was usually having the worst anxiety on the inside. When he was alone, you knew that he paced. And, he did it a lot by the wearing of the new carpet in his cabin.

"Okay, I know it's weird and you're probably not going to agree but, I really like you, (Y/N)." You should've expected the confession but, honestly, you didn't really. (I mean, of course you didn't. This is a fanfiction.) You glanced at the nervous son of Jupiter, who was looking at you expectantly.

"I like you too," you blurted out, also feeling as anxious as he looked. He didn't get for a second and you could tell until smiled.

"Really?"

"Yes, of course! I mean, I think you knew that but, I'm glad you did." You restrained yourself from ranting on and smiled back at him. Jason took a seat next to you on the desk as you sat in an almost awkward silence. He glanced at you and you followed the suit.

"Um... Can I...?" Awkward and Shy Jason was your new favourite type of Jason. You nodded, hopefully understanding what he wanted to know. The blond moved in, leaning slowly, making your heart pound faster and faster until you both kissed.

But, it wasn't as 'movie-magical' as you thought. It was messy. There was teeth clacking and you're pretty sure that Jason forgot he was chewing gum. But, so did you. You didn't know why you were so inexperienced. You had kissed several boys before Jason and you knew very well that Jason could kiss, knowing him and Piper.

You pulled back, giggling and blushing bright red. He chuckled a little bit, less awkward and shy, more like himself. He wasn't an extrovert but, he wasn't an introvert either.

"Okay, mint gum and chocolate gum do not mix," you said, laughing. Jason laughed, sticking his tongue out.

"Ew! Why do you have chocolate flavoured gum," he asked, disgusted and laughing.

"It's good. Wanna taste," you teased, puckering your lips in a joking manner.

"Not with the mint," he said, spitting his gum into the trash. And with that, he kissed you again. It wasn't your first with Jason but, at least it was a lot less awkward than the first one.

Oh my goodness, I didn't like this one as much! At least it was longer.  I'm so sorry to the anon who wanted it. It was okay, I guess and I hope you guys enjoyed it! Be sure to continue requesting! My list is open! :)

With care (mostly),
