Children watched as a man in a trench coat passed by them, a chill seemed to follow. Suddenly he stopped stiding through the snow and looked left then right. This wasn't unusual, people would often look to make sure they weren't being watched when they were in this part of New York.
However the part that was simply inconcievable was the fact that he slowly stepped forward, and the his figuire dissappeared completely, only his tracks were evidence of him ever being there.
When the man in a black coat exited the portal he came to admire the panoramic landscape in front. Home, he thought, he had been homesick for quite some time, with the human world he, could only fathom so much, but now he fully appreciated the tall trees, green grass and blue blue skies.
Stripping his coat he changed into his tiger form. He felt his back elongate and his face narrow. Although he adored his sun set orange coloured tail.
At first he felt a foreign feeling in his mind then he understood, he let the encantation echo through his mind and reverberate through his body.
"Sacrorum detestatio et honore custódiam vinculum pacis."
Finally he could run again. Now to the ritual, and soon his future life in patriam.
