Soul Mates (On Hiatus)

Chapter 13

Roy aka Red Arrow was scoping out a delivery of weapons. He shot an few arrows at the boss's men and waited for the boss to notice him. The man he was waiting for had light red skin (at least that's what I saw I'm not sure what color his skin was actually...) wore a nice suit, and had four strips of white hair on his head.
He pointed a gun at Red and shouted, "You again! I'm getting insulted that Green Arrow isn't messing up my operations personally!" The red head narrowed his eyes so the white covering them were slitted.
The guy fired the futuristic gun and missed everytime as Red Arrow started coming down from his spot on the giant metal crates (not sure what they're actually called). He loaded an arrow, turned around slightly, did a flip to avoid another red blast, pulled the string back, and released the explosive arrow.
The arrow flew straight to the man's gun (don't know his name) and, obviously, made it explode and ruined the guy's suit.
"Do you know what I pay for a suit in my size?!" He yelled. Then, a blur of yellow ran by and took out more guys with guns.
Robin's signature cackle rang out over the docks while Phantom and Danny made sure there were no civilians and no one escaped. Robin swung in and disarmed the rest of the guys. Aqualad took them out with his water barrers.
"The cave has everything we need." Aqualad said to Red Arrow.
"Yeah! It has everything for covert missions! You know?! Spy stuff!" Robin added excitedly with a smile.
"Yeah," Kid started, "wait until you meet Miss Martian, Super Boy, and Fire Wolf. The girls have nothin on Rob though."
The boy in question blushed slightly as the two ghosts came back and landed so they completed the circle.
"I have to say, it's pretty cool." Reaper said with a smirk. Phantom was about to say something to, but was interupted by the bad guy who had just picked up a rock and was about to hit them with it.
Uh oh...
Phantom pulled Reaper behind him and shot an ectoblast at it, immediately destroying the big peice while Aqualad took care of a smaller, but equally deadly, peice of rock.
Red shot three more explosive arrows at the man. All of them hit and exploded one by one.
After they went off, he chuckled and said, "Tell Arrow that he shouldn't send boys to do a man's job." Roy pulled out another arrow as Phantom and Reaper readied their ectoblasts.
"Go ahead." The man sneered. Phantom and Reaper shot him first with low powered blasts so they wouldn't distract Red from what he was doing to much. They also didn't want to ruin whatever plan he had.
The arrow was let loose and when it detonated high density foam enveloped the crime boss.
"High density polyurethane foam, nice!" Wally said when he skidded to a stop in front of Roy. The archer just ignored him.
Robin was leaning against the crates when he turned around with Aqualad on his other side and the ghost teens perched on the crates. Of course, they were glaring at him because of what he'd said and really didn't want him to be on the team, but they respected Robin, Wally, and Kaldar's judgment. It didn't mean that they had to like it though.
"Pass." He started. "I'm done letting Arrow and the League tell me what to do." He glared at the Boy Wonder.
"I don't need a baby sitter or a club house to hang out with the other kids. Your Junior Justice League is a joke."
Reaper snorted, "We're the joke? We have friends that will watch our back. We have a team that's more like family. If anyone here is a joke..."
His green eyes darkened as he snarled, "It's you."
Phantom moved over to his mate and put a hand on his shoulder.
"They care about you, but of course, that doesn't matter. All that matters is that you aren't in the Justice League. You're pathetic." Roy sent him a death glare which Reaper returned ten fold.
"I still don't know why you're on the team."
Reaper bristled, "I'm on the team because I put my team, hell, my family, before myself." He snarled as Phantom held him back. Robin was looking at him with wide eyes. Kid had a similar look while Kaldar just looked indifferent.
When the Boy Wonder looked at Reaper he saw the raw protectiveness behind them. Huh, sweet. I've got a big brother that lives with me. Then, he saw Phantom's look. Make that two big brothers that live with me.
"The team is meant to keep you busy and in your place." The black haired boy just about pounced at the red head, but Kid Flash and Phantom held him back by his arms. He could've phased through Kid's grip, but not Phantom's so he let them hold him while Roy disappeared into the shadows.
"I don't want any part of it." His voice echoed after him.
