Ok now for my idea. I was thinking that in some way we all die except for one who's actually in a coma but the forest kept their spirit there. And one by one we keep losing each other being thrown into our own personal hells and just when we're about to lose it we're put right back as if we'd never got separated. Spirits will grab our attention sending us in directions that just make us go in circles until finally at some point I think it'd be great if a spirit also trapped there came to help but since we're all dead he can only help the one in the coma so at the end we all find out the hard truth. But not until after making everyone go through all these horrible stages to get him there. This will be a Pangea type world, set far in the future to make it seem reasonable and it will definitely have a link to America. But we need to study up more on the history and culture just keep in mind.
