I observed him carefully as he walked to the door. I knew that it would be time soon enough but suppressed the urge to check my watch. I took a deep breath and started counting in reverse under my breath. "Ten, nine, eight, seven..."
"DONG!!... DONG!!.. DONG!!.."
There it was... The first ding of the distant clock, where it all started five years ago...
He never missed it.. It was his morning charm.. The bell which laid the world, as it had seemed fantastic, in front of his ever expectant eyes...
Until...

Today was a very special day... Hundreds had gathered in the grounds to witness the ceremony. Was it really a ceremony? or was it a mourning? I could tell from his face, he wouldn't have cared in either case... How I wished he could see how important this was.. How big for him and for all of us.. For me! It was his story.. His struggle to success come all the way till here... But was is it really success... ? I doubt he would ever agree with me on this one..
As I struggled to control the flow of emotions through me, flashes of memories came struggling to the forefront... in a dizzy of colors and shades of various emotions, I got lost in our story to this day...
