I was going about my morning. Looking over training patrols and new platoons. I already picked the guards that will accompany us to the snow caves but I haven't even talked to Tall-ah or Kiasak yet. As I make my way past everyone in the courtyard I entered the main building. The sickly sweet scent of flowers hit me like a brick. I preferred the hallways not overrun with vegetation.

When I finally made it I opened the door without knocking. I walked right into a room with Venus and Tall-ah wrap together I whispered/ yelled in my best angry voice. "What the hell, ice veins what are you doing in her bed?"

She looked at me and smiled she started to stroke Tall-ah hair. "Well? To tell you the truth, I was waiting for her to come back yesterday but instead, she didn't even notice me and just jumped on top of me and fell asleep poor thing must have had the worst sleep yesterday night."

I stood there confused, "You know what Kiusak is saying about her right? That she is just a stand-in. For the real queen a pawn!"

Her eyes became cold as the room became colder much colder. I could see my breath but not hers. "Don't call her a pawn and if you or anyone thinks that they could hurt her then know you will have to go through me!" She looked down surprised as she stayed silent analyzing the sleeping girl.

I took a breath in defeat knowing its quite pointless persuading this girl. "Fine do what you like just don't get to attached I rather not see you hurt."

She relaxed her body before snapping at me. "I WILL DO WHAT I WANT."

I sighed with complaints evident in my tone gosh I need to fix this bad blood before I leave can't have the eight of us fighting each other. "Look about my wife she was shocked when Tall-ah came back she was over her, she has forgiven herself for letting her died, but then her love.... our love came back? Now that she is back she has doubt in her heart that it's her? We all know it is but it's easier to think that she isn't real instead of abandonment. You never gave up on her but most of us did Piper, Rose, Kiusak, Elza, and Priscilla. Everone was able to jump back in the saddle it seems but Kiusak is eating away at herself more than ever doubting everything she knew about her love relationship with Tall-ah and herself. Look if that really is the Tall-ah we all know and love time will only tell." I turn around ready to leave, "oh tell her to take it easy today cause tomorrow is going to be a long haul." I took my leave back into the hallway of flowers I pick a lovely Lilac Yes Tall-ah was my first love funny that I married Kiusak thou. I was walking down the hallway to her office and dropped off my paperwork for the mission not knowing what Tall-ah would do but knowing, what we will do if things turned sour.

I walked out and to the training yard to see all the face I picked out from the Royal Guard most were in there 18/1800 to 23/2300 years of age I know right confusing. There is one I picked who was younger than that. His skills were that of a very deadly trained assassin taught by his father. He was only 13 but has bested most of our veterans in a fight. At first, we thought it was a fluke so he was tested by Kiusak who was pushback by this young lad.

As they took their stance I noticed everyone was in there new formation already. I walked to the front to see my wife already doing roll call.

She noticed me and smiled. "Here she starts with exercises and I will group them up in fours. I was confused at this but listen." I want six laps around the courtyard first five that come in first won't do two- hundred push-up and don't think that I want." At this point, everyone was running in a full sprint while others just paced there jog probably cause they knew it was going to be a taught day. I chuckled a bit and my wife asks what so funny. I told her that the 13-year-old just wiped their asses and now doing push-ups jezz he's so eager. By the time I was done with stretches everyone was numbered she yell grab a wooden weapon then we start. there were spears, sword, shields, daggers, maces' morning stars and staff. When everyone had their weapons the fight began with one call. "Everyone attack numbers three and one." Just like that the lesson start she soon changed it to every one attack four so that they got experience fighting uneven odds. Man watching them was tiring, but they all improve knowing how to spot an enemy quickly and safely. Working as a team to defend or destroy things was simply amazing just simply amazing my wife really does know what she is doing.
