Violet Lore was what some would call defective. At the age of sixteen her world went dark, and all her life she's been waiting for someone to turn the lights back on. Then she met her. The ancient one.
It was strange to Violet how she could now see everything, yet her world was still as dark as it had been all those years ago. Then a doctor came, and he showed Violet how to turn the lights back on.
