She's gone

Myles POV

I hadn't had a text from Briar this morning and she wasn't picking up her phone so I decided to call her mum

"No sorry Myles I haven't seen her today I thought she was with you"

"Okay thanks anyway Mrs N"

I text all of Briars friends starting to get very worried and no one had heard from her. This was wrong very wrong, she had only texted me once yesterday to tell me she loved me. Things started to add up.

I got in my car and went to Briar's house in a panic. I knocked on the door furiously until her sister Abby answered

"Myles what is it" she began

I interrupt "abbey I think she's run away, Briar has run away!"

We rang the police and they started searching any place they could think briar may be. However by the evening there was still nothing. I stayed with Briar's family as I knew they would hear any news first.

Finally I was about to go home. The sky was pitch black, I had totally lost track of time. I was just leaving the door when the constable came in.

"Myles" he said solemnly " this was the only thing we could find"

He handed me over a pice of paper folded neatly with my name on the front in Briar's handwriting.

I went into my car to read it. I couldn't cope being with her family without her any longer

I carefully opened it feeling closer to Briar already; it read

Myles my love

I'm sorry I had to leave but you will understand one day. It's no ones fault but my own but don't worry I'm fine. Also please don't try to find me Mylo, I have to leave but I will be back, one day
