Red sunlight filled the room, pulling me from my precious slumber. "Dude, Sebastian. The sun is just barely greeting the world, not moi ." Gotta love French, makes everything sound fancy

"As the sun greets the world you must greet it. I'm sure the sun has much more important things to do than greet every individual." Sebastian replies.

I groan and slip from the bed, falling face first onto the floor. "But I don't want to get up!"

Sebastian sighs and picks me up off the ground. "We are going to the townhouse, so you must."

"Wait, are you serious?" I say, looking to him. What's that in his coat pocket? The letter from the Queen to Ciel, idiot. Seeing no joking manner in his eyes I begin to squirm in his grasp. "Let go, you infernal being. Today just got way interesting."

"Oh? And why is that?" He asks, placing me on the floor.

I run to the dresser, looking for my dress when a sharp pain shoots up my spine. "What the hell? Ow!"

"Y/n, are you alright?" Sebastian rushes over placing a hand on my shoulder.

I look at what I was wearing. Why was I still in my uniform? "Yeah. I didn't fall asleep at that desk last night, did I?"

Sebastian chuckles. "Did you forget what happened last night?"

I flushed, and took a moment to remember everything. I couldn't remember anything! Hopefully that was a good thing, time to wing it. "I can assure you that you and I didn't do anything. I would've been too tired and stressed out because of all that stupid paperwork. Plus I'm still wearing my uniform." I said, brushing my hair to seem somewhat presentable.

"I must say that is some stellar logic you have there. And yes, you did fall asleep at that desk I had to take you up here. I figured you wouldn't want me dressing you." He said, then turned and walked to the door. "Now we must be off. There are things to be done."

"A'ight," I replied and walked out the door. "How about you get Ciel and I'll prepare the carriage?"

"Why would we need the carriage?" Sebastian asked.

I snatched the letter from his coat and waved it at him. "Because of this, you goof! It's from the bloody Queen of freakin' England. She's obviously sending Ciel to some kind of dirty work."

Sebastian sighs. "Alright, just be sure to take it easy with the horses."

"Oh please, animals love me. Befriended this cute little raven just the other day." I replied, handing Sebastian back the letter. "What's the worse that could happen?

(( Minutes Later ))

You wanna know what could happen? The first horse being totally chill with me hooking it up to the carriage but the second horse acting like it just saw me slaughter its entire family.

"Hey, hey. Easy there, girl!" I said to the horse. It had completely freaked out when I approached it, bucking wildly. "It's alright." I bowed my head to the creature, warily raising my hand.

The horse took a while, but it calmed when I turned my gaze away from it. I took a few slow, cautious steps toward the horse. It huffed and placed its nose against my hand, nuzzling it. I slowly stood and petted up by its ears.

"See? I meant no harm." I said, unhooking it from the stable. "Nice and easy now. We're almost done." We walked over to the carriage, where I hooked it up and sighed in relief. "You are stubborn as your relatives the donkeys."

"Y/n! Is the carriage ready?" Ciel's voice popped up from my right.

I jumped, swallowing the curses that almost slipped out of my mouth. "Y-Yeah, it is."
