Remember, I DO NOT OWN CORALINE! It is a great movie that I just had to write about
-CCCCoraline ruffled her hair, summer was just being started and she had already had a nightmare. "UGH your so childish, she's dead, she is gone Coraline get it into your head!" She spat at herself.
"W-well I wouldn't consider h-her completely dead." A small creak came from the window, it was Wybie.
"WYBIE!" Coraline huffed as Wybie pulled himself into the room, "You scared me to death with your weird nightly shenanigans!"
"Cmon Jonesy y-you know I'm here to comfort you every night." Wybie gave her a sly smile, "And let's remember who asked me to d-do it!"
It was true, Coraline remembered the conversation. She had asked him if he could sneak up to her room at night to help her with her nightmares, he agreed... Which was a little odd...
Coraline felt her face light up with blush when Wybie mentioned that, "Yeah whatever!"
"Why y-ya so nervous Jonesy, I thought that was my thing." Wybie pointed out, "Wait, or are you a Wus-Puss?"
"Wybie!" Coraline threw her stuffed animal at him, he ducked and started laughing loudly.
"Your so annoying Why-Were-You-Born!" Coraline pulled her blanket over her head somewhat muffling her words and also hiding her small bit of blush.
"O-ok I'll stop," Wybie said as Coraline felt his hand on her shoulder, and once again her heart rate sped up. She finally took the blanket off her head, and she glared at Wybie.
"I said I would stop!" Wybie wailed as Coraline kept angrily glaring at him. He slowly backed away as she neared him her face getting madder and madder. "Your kinda c-creeping me o-out Jonesy..." Wybie held up both of his hands in front of himself as Coraline crept closer, looking like a cat about to pounce. She then let out a hiss and pounced onto Wybie, they both crashed to the floor with a thud, a really loud thud.
Coraline heard that her parents woke up due to the crash and she hurried into her bed. Wybie looked from side to side noticing that there was limited hiding places. "Just get into my bed!" Coraline urgently whispered in desperation. Wybie dived under her blankets and cuddled close to her, wrapping his arms around her waist while blushing.
Coraline's father walked into the room, and Coraline and Wybie held their breath. "Hi Coraline, did you hear that big crash?"
Coraline knew her face was heating up with blush from Wybie being so close to her, "N-no dad..."
Her father then sat on her bed making Coraline inhale deeply and nervously. "Hey sweetie, are you hot? Your face is turning red."
Oh crap oh crap oh crap oh crap Coraline released her breath, "Y-yeah s-sure!" Coraline knew it was the best excuse she could go along with so she obviously went with it just to keep her secret crush safe.
"Why don't you take off some of these blankets then?" Her father then began to try and pull a blanket down.
"NO! No no no I'm fine!" She convinced her father. He gave her and odd look before he stood and excited the room.
"Oh thank goodness!" Wybie's muffled voice came from under Coraline.
"Out." Coraline ordered Wybie, he scrambled out and sat cross legged on the end of her bed. Coraline chuckled, "Are you scared of me now?"
"No I've always been," Wybie teased her.
Coraline stuck out her tongue, "Yeah Psycho-Dork, you should be scared."
"I'm not a dork!" Wybie protested throwing his hands into the air.
"Oh yeah you totally aren't it's not like you made your own FREAKIN MOTORCYCLE!" Coraline pointed out.
Wybie had opened his mouth to say something before the door creaked open and there, in the doorway was Coraline's mother. "Hey Coraline honey I was-" She stopped as she looked at Wybie back to Coraline and back again, her eyes wide. She then placed her free hand on her forehead and closed her eyes, "Coraline, Coraline, Coraline, why?"
"U-um..." Was Coraline's only response, she had been caught! Her face was a deep red and she twisted at her blanket.
"You do know his Grandmother and him are coming over for dinner tomorrow right?" Her mother asked.
"He is?"
"I am?"
The two looked at each other in confusion, tilting their heads.
"I'm just going to let this go Coraline cause you've done much worse. Anyways get back to whatever you and your boyfriend were doing," She began to close the fire before Coraline shouted, "HES NOT MY BOYFRIEND!"
Wybie let out a giggle, "W-well it could've been worse!" Much worse... He felt some blush on his face from being called Coraline's boyfriend.
"I guess..." Coraline knew she was blushing really hard, and tried to look away to hide it. When she turned her head she saw her camera lying on her desk, "Hey Wybie, before dinner tomorrow let's go into the woods."
"Are you going to do another photo shoot again?" Wybie groaned.
"You know I like that stuff!" Coraline shoved Wybie playfully.
"Yeah... I guess you always have to help me b-build stuff." Wybie tapped his chin and nodded.
"Anyways, let's get some shut eye..."
Coraline pulled on some clothes that matched the naturalness of the forest. She chose a green sweater with a jean skirt and brown leggings with some dirty white converses. She then bounced down the stairs to see her mother and father in kitchen. Her father sat at the table reading the news paper while her mother made some bacon and eggs. Coraline sat down in her spot tapping her fingers waiting for her food.
"Charlie dear," Her mother called attention to her father, he looked up from his newspaper to look at his wife. "I'm afraid our daughter has a crush on someone..."
Coraline felt herself redden, "MOM! I-I've never ever e-ever in my life have e-ever had a crush!"
Her father nor mother paid any attention to her, "She has a crush on that Lovat kid." Her mother kept explaining to her father, "He was in her room after we heard the bang."
"I never saw him in there..."
"He h-hid," Coraline muttered under her breath.
Her father looked from Coraline to his wife, "Does she really?"
"NO!" Coraline yelled as she slammed her hands on the table.
"Your bluuuuuuuuushing!" Her mother teased Coraline.
"Maybe a small one..." Coraline whispered.Ooh I loved writing this! Anyways until next chapter fellow Internet lovers and happy Wus-Puss! 😹😹😹
