what to do after a panic/ anxiety attack

~at home
*drink some water (when you cry you lose a lot of fluids so drinking water will help restore them)
*make yourself into a burrito with a blanket
*sleep
*look at your favorite aesthetic
*listen to music (indie or something really calming; troye sivan, børns, purity ring, etc)
*call a friend or anyone and just talk
*take a walk
*read happy things
*write down what's bothering you and burn it or throw it away
*take a bath/ shower and let the water just hit your back

~in public
*go into a restroom or somewhere you could be alone if you haven't already and calm your breathing
*sit for a while
*if you can, go home or to a nice cafe or somewhere you can be unbothered
*again, drink water
*listen to music
*if you're in class, ask to go to the nurse or just chill in the bathroom
*write a list of things that make you happy
