Characters: Johny Montenegro
Ashra Cruz
One rainy morning, Ashra was running under the rain and she was finding a shed. As she goes by she found a shed.
Ashra wiped all the wet away and keep looking at her watch. Johny on other side notice Ashra was wet and had no umbrella.
“Excuse me miss, I notice that you keep on looking at your watch. Are you late? Where are you going?” Johny asked.
“Oh. Yeah I’m really late and my class is at that building (pointing at it).” Johny look and think.
“You know what my class is also there maybe we could go together if it is fine with you.” Ashra think and look at her watch and it was late. “It’s fine with me. Thank you.” They shared in an umbrella.
And after walking at heavy rain they reach the building. “Thank you. By the way I’m Ashra Cruz and you are?” Ashra spoke first.
“You’re welcome. I’m Johny Montenegro” Johny answered. “Thank you and nice to meet you. I’m sorry but I have to go.” Asrah said.
“It’s okay and nice to meet you too Hey wait. Bring this umbrella.” Johny answered. “No it’s okay it’s yours and I have my jacket. Bye.”
Johny just go to his class.
After that they never meet again.
After graduation, Johny goes home and get his things and head to school before heading to airport.
He stops by the shed where he and Ashra first meet. He sat and suddenly the rain started to fall. As he looks at his watch he only got 40 minutes left before boarding. He took his umbrella and a paper and wrote
“Use this. You might be getting wet.” He leaves the umbrella and the note at the bench. Then he heads to the airport.
Ashra on other side was also going to Seattle to live with her family. Before she heads to airport, she also stops by at the shed where she and Johny first meet. She saw the umbrella and the note. She read it and suddenly says “Thank you, I would never forget you. I hope we’ll meet again.” Ashra goes to airport.
Johny lived in America and became a business man. One afternoon, on his way home he passed by a store he suddenly notice the name it was “Ash” he remembered the girl he met 3 years ago. He goes inside the store and a bracelet caught his eye. He bought the bracelet. Ashra on other side was leaving in a Seattle had a company manage by her.
When she got home from her work, her sister told her that she had invited to a party by her friend from the Philippines. “Ashra go to the party. I’m sure you miss them and they miss you.” Her sister said. “Me too, I miss them”. Johny also receive an invitation and he and Ashra will go back in Philippines on the day of the party.
Ashra and Johny arrived safely. From airport they headed home, took a shower and go to the school where the venue was. Ashra parked her car same with Johny he also parked his car. On their way to the venue the rain suddenly started to fall.
Ashra and Johny run through the shed.
While Ashra was wiping the wet part in her body, Johny notice and call her
“Ashra is that you?” Johny asked with a smile on his face. Ashra heard and look at him and answered
“Johny, Yes it’s me. How are you?” Ashra answered. Johny suddenly noticed that they meet again where ther first meet.
“You know I was looking for you 3 years ago. I asked your friend she said you’ll going to Seattle.”Johny said.
Looking for me? Why? Yeah and I just arrived earlier.” Ashra answered.
“Because I have something to tell you. Ashra when I first met you I felt something. I know you’ve heard that I have exes. In my mind I loved them in my heart there’s only one girl who I really love and it was you. Ashra it took 3 years for me to finally meet you again, to tell you what I felt.” Johny explain.
“Johny 3 years ago I read your letter and keep the umbrella, I said to myself I hope one day we’ll meet again. I think that day is today.”
Johny comes closer to Ashra and hold her hand and kneel “Can you be with me forever. I promise not to hurt you, Promise to love you.”
Johny pull out a red box and opened it with a ring inside. “Are you proposing?” Ashra Asked. Johny took the ring and “yes I am. Will you marry me?” Johny Asked. “yes!” Ashra answered. “I LOVE YOU” Johny said “I LOVE YOU TOO” Ashra said.
It takes a man and a woman to meet and fall in love again.
That’s the story of how a man and a woman finally meet again and say what they really felt after 3 years of being away.
