"Wake up!" my dad booms taking away my blankets.

"Dad! it's 3a.m.! what are I doing?" I groan glaring at him from under my pillow.

"Training come on sport prophecies don't complete themselves!" he yells pulling me from my bed and out into the yard where my mom stands with tired looking Brandon.

"Morning," Brandon mumbles.

"Morning," I say taking a look at him he is shirtless (not a bad thing) with batman pj pants. I then look down at what I'm wearing dear gods I'm only in shorts and a very thin tank top. "mom dad why couldn't we get dressed?"

"You won't need clothes today now shift," my mom says before letting her white wolf appear my dad does the same his black wolf letting a growl rip through the air. I finally relent and shift letting my wolf have control as she shakes her silvery white coat. I glance over at Brandon and suddenly I'm drooling I know gross but his wolf is like gold and glimmers in the sun.

'Well come on then,' my dad announces through our bond.

'Race you to the cave,' mom screams before bolting off into the woods.

Brandon and I soon take off after them. running as one through the woods letting our wolves do a dance built into our souls. too soon I realize my parents didn't lead us to the cave but to a cliff. 'jump,' is all my mom gets out before leaping off and shifting mid flight. my dad doesn't hesitate and follows Brandon soon after until I'm the only one left at the top. 'come on its fun!' Brandon yells through the bond. I take a few deep breaths backing up and running until there is no ground beneath me. I shift and a feeling of awe surrounds me. I'm so...free! with a smack I hit the water shifting back to my wolf I doggy paddle my way to shore.

'First lesson trust,' my dad whispers, 'done'
