Hey guys! So this is my new book and I hope you guys like it! Don't forget to vote! Thanks! :)

I woke up to the sound of loud beeping.

"BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!" I pulled my pillow over my head.

"Shut up!" I yelled at my alarm. "Five more minutes, please." I groaned. I took my pillow off of my face and grabbed my phone. I turned the alarm off and threw my phone to the other side of the bed. I sat up, rubbed my eyes, and yawned.

I got up off of my bed and stood in front of my mirror. "Why must I be so ugly in the morning?" I said to myself while combing my hand through my hair. I grabbed my brush and walked into the bathroom.

Later that morning:

After taking a shower and getting dressed I ran downstairs.

" 'Morning, Kris," my mom said while packing our lunches.

"Hey, Mom," I said, grabbing a piece of toast and sitting down at the table. My brother was sitting across from me playing on his DS.

" 'Sup," he said, not bothering to look up from his game.

" 'Morning to you too, Squirt," I said, ruffling his hair. He slammed his DS on the table.

"Mom! Kris messed up my hair!" he yelled at my mom. "And I told you not to call me that!" he said to me. I just shrugged my shoulders. My mom just shook her head and continued spreading peanut butter onto a sandwich.

"Are you ready for school, Kris?" she said to me.

"Yeah." I said, looking at the clock. "Oh sh*t." I said, seeing that it's already 7:35. The bus comes at 7:30! I jumped up from my seat and to the door.

"Language!" my mom yelled at me.

"Sorry!" I yelled back, grabbing my backpack. "Bye! Love you!" and with that I shut the door.

I stopped at the edge of the sidewalk. I looked left then right. The bus was nowhere in sight. I took a deep breath. Looks like I'm walking. Luckily, the walk from my house to school is only about 20 minutes. I threw my backpack over my shoulder and began walking.

After walking for about 15 minutes, the school was in sight. I pulled out my phone and checked the time. 7:50. I had a sigh of relief. I don't have to run. Just then, a red charger sped past me and pulled up in front of the school. Alex. Alex Green. That rich little a*s. I shook it off and pressed through the doors of the school. I saw my friend Melanie at her locker. I went up to her.

"Hey, Mel," I said to her. She paused from putting books in her locker and looked at me.

"Hey, Kris," she said, pulling me in for a hug. I pulled away and turned to my locker, which is thankfully next to hers. I don't know what I'd do without Mel. I put in the combination and opened up my locker.

"What periods do we have?" I said to her.

"I have physics and anatomy. You have English and anatomy." she said to me, closing her locker.

"What would I do without you Mel?"

"Nothing. You'd be a stupid loner," she joked.

"Hey!" I said, playfully punching her shoulder. Just then, Alex walked in. I sighed. "Looks who it is." She looked towards the door and smiled.

"Kris, I know you like him! Just admit it!"

"I do not! He's so annoying! He thinks he's all cool 'cause he's rich. I bet he pays  people to be his friends."

"Sure," she said, stretching the 'u' I grabbed my books and headed to English.

ALEX'S POV

"Hey Mat!" I yelled to my friend Matthew across the hallway.

"What's up, dude?" he said, giving me a high five.

"Oh, you know. The usual: being trampled by girls," I laughed.

"Shut up," he said, nudging me.

"I do not!" I heard someone yell across the hallway. We both turned towards the source of the noise.

"What was that?" I said.

"Just that poor a*s girl, Kristin, being loud. Again," I laughed and opened my locker. Mat began rummaging through his backpack. He tapped my shoulder. "Alex," he said, I turned to see him holding a $50 bill. "Let's make a bet."

"What? Dude, you just walk around with that?"

"For emergencies!"

"Anyways! What's the bet?"

"I dare you to date Kristin Davis for a week. Then you get this," he said, waving the bill. I looked back over to where Kristin was.

Is it even worth it? She's freaking poor! What good would come out of it anyways? Money? I have all I need! She was still talking to her friend, arguing over something. She slammed her locker shut and walked towards her first period. English. Which have with her. Who knows? Maybe she is a decent person. I turned back to Mat.

"Make it $100."

Thanks for reading! Don't forget to vote! Love ya!
