Love at First Sight

Chapter 3: Part 1:

I wake up and turn over to cuddle with Claire but she's not there. I sit up & automatically smell food. I get out of bed and throw on my oversized t-shirt. I go downstairs and see Claire cooking breakfast. I walk up behind her and hug her from behind.

"Morning babe."

"Morning Demi." She continues cooking and doesn't say anything. I try giving her a kiss but she moves so I kiss her cheek. We sit down to eat. The whole house was silent.

"Demi we need to talk." She says breaking the silence. I look up at her. "What about?"

"About what happened last night."

"Okay, what about it? That it was amazing." I said trying to hold her hand but she pulls it away.

"No Demi it was a mistake."

"What? That's not what it seemed like last night when you were moaning my name!"

"Demi I can't be with you."

"Why?"

"Because you're a girl and I'm a girl."

"Who cares?"

"My family is against it. I care what they think."

"But.."

"No, can we just forget it ever happened?" She asked. Tears start running down my cheeks.

"Fine.."

We sit there in silence.

"Claire we still have a whole week together can we just fool around with each other?" Maybe she'll change her mind.

"Fine.."

"Yay!" I jump up on her lap and kiss her passionately. I might as well make every moment of this week count.
