Chapter 16: Happy Holidays

Us werewolves celebrate Christmas only slightly different than the humans. Similarities are the presents, opening them Christmas morning, having a Christmas tree, and believing in Santa. The difference is instead of Santa Clause, it's Santa Claws and that's the only difference XD. Kinda stupid, but we all love it.

Yanno that warm Christmas feeling when you stand in your living room and just take in the beauty of the Christmas tree, the smell of cinnamon, mints, and vanilla, and all of the pretty decorations around you? I love that so much. It's what I'm doing right now.

Three days until Christmas and here I sit in front of our all natural Christmas tree that my dad cut down himself. We decorated it, filled it with lights, and some presents are already under the tree.

Oh, there's another difference. We like to watch the gift amount under the tree grow until Christmas, so instead of waiting the night before Christmas to pile all of the gifts around the tree, we wrap them and put them there regardless of whether it's Christmas or not. Right now, the gift count is 37...just wait on Christmas morning, there should be about 72.

Speaking of gifts...I still haven't gotten Andy anything...CUZ FORREAL, HE DIDN'T GIVE ME ANY IDEAS. I just gotta think of what he likes! Uh...studying...but he has textbooks to read for years. Music! Wait no, he has every instrument anyone could ever dream of in his basement. Art, drawing, I think I can do something with that.

When he taught me how to paint and draw, I saw the materials he laid out. He could use some new paintbrushes. The ones he has are quite old and worn out. I'll get him some new, fancy ones...he'll love them! Oh...I should get them now though. There are tons of artists out there just waiting for new paintbrushes.

"Kaytlynn! Come with me to the craft store!" I called up to her. "Coming!" She called back. I don't like going to stores by myself, I get nervous XD.

"So what are we getting at the craft store?" Kaytlynn asked as we walked into Michael's.

"I'm gonna get Andy some new paintbrushes. Have you gotten Kellin a gift yet?"

"I...I haven't...cuz he said he didn't want anything, but I wanna give him something. I just don't know what."

"Well, what does he like? What are his interests?"

"He likes video games, singing, he's taken a liking to our music..." she listed.

"Get him a gift card to hot topic! If he likes our music, he'll love hot topic!" I shared my thought while looking for the paintbrushes. "Yea! That's what I'll get him. Can we go there after this?" She asked.

"Yea, that's fine." I nodded. I found the paint aisle and scanned over the brushes, looking for anything that stood out.

That's when I laid my eyes upon the most beautiful paintbrushes I've ever seen. Bamboo wooded, white bristled paintbrushes, silver clamps, and each had the name "Bob Ross" on them at the ends. Andy's told me about Bob Ross before, Bob is an amazing painter and he has his own book on how to paint like he does. What these brushes are telling me is that even Bob Ross would use them for painting. So hell yea, Imma get these paintbrushes for my man.

I purchased the paintbrushes and went to hot topic with Kaytlynn. Hot topic is expensive AS FUCK. KELLIN BETTER SHOP HERE. Kaytlynn, out of the generosity of her sweet heart, got Kellin a $200 gift card. If anyone got a gift card for me with more than $50, I'd love them forever.

We went back home and wrapped the presents, but we didn't put them under the tree. If anyone saw gifts addressed to Andy and Kellin, they'd have a heart attack XD.
