Savannah's p.o.v.
Beep. Beep. Beep.
I groan slamming my hand on my alarm clock shutting it off. I shoved my face into my pillow and went back to sleep.
"Vannah, get up!" my mom yelled knocking on my door.
"Ten more minutes," I groaned.
"Get up, you'll be late for school" she said barging into my room pulling away my comforter.
"Nooo" I moaned reaching for it again as my delightful mother left the room.
Groaning again I got up and made my way to my bathroom. I took a ten minute shower with very hot water and my vanilla bodywash.
I stepped out and wrapped a fluffy white towel around myself and headed to my closet. I got out and put on a red sweater, white high waisted shorts and my white vans.
I dried my hair, put it in a messy bun and did my make-up which was just some mascara and lipgloss.
When I was satisfied, I grabbed my bag and headed downstairs for breakfast.
"Morning mom, morning dad" I say when I get downstairs.
"Morning sweetie" dad replied kissing my cheek.
"Morning dear" mom said placing my breakfast in front of me.
I ate my breakfast which was pancakes and eggs and drank a glass of orange juicce.
After I was finished I gave each of my parents a kiss on their cheek and walked out heading to my black jeep.
The drive to school took around 15 minutes.
As I entered the tall blue doors, I spotted my friends and walked over to them.
"Hey Em, hey Zack" I greeted.
"Hey Van" they replied in unision.
We chatted on our way to our lockers which were right next to each other's.
Awesome right?
Before class, as I was saying to my friends I would meet them at the cafeteria at lunch break, I noticed Zack and Emma giving each other weird looks.
I have been convinced that they liked each other for a while and they're just too afraid to tell me. But it's not my place to pry.
Classes flew by quickly and soon it was lunch time. I started walking to the cafeteria to meet my friends when I bumped into something. Well someone because arms wrapped around my waist steadying me so I didn't fall.
"I just saved your life" he stated proudly puffing his chest.
I looked up and saw the school's bad boy, Adrian Grant.
Seriously!
"Yeah right" I said rolling my eyes, "I'm pretty sure I would have survived if I fell."
Without waiting for his reply, I walked away to the cafeteria . I got my french fries ( one of the only edible things in the school's cafeteria) and headed to the table where Emma and Zack were waiting for me. We talked and ate and before we knew it the bell had rung.
School finished quickly and I was now on my way home.
"Parents I'm home!" I yelled walking into the living room to find my parents sitting there.
"Honey, we need to talk to you." my mom said seriously.
"Are you guys getting a divorce?" I asked.
"No sweetie. Why would you even think that?" my dad asked resting a hand on my mom's thigh.
Bleh.
"I don't know" I shrugged.
"Anyway" my mom continued "your father and I are going on a business trip for a few months."
"Ok, how much months exactly?" I asked.
"Two months" said dad.
"So I'll be here alone?"
"No. We asked a friend and they are more than happy to let you stay for a while." Mom told me.
"Oh. Ok" I replied.
"We're leaving tomorrow so you should start packing your bags now." Dad informed me.
"Alright" I replied and headed upstairs to pack.
