Continuation of the Slave.

"Are you sure I'll do fine?" Kakashi asked.

Obito grinned and nodded, putting a hand on the boy. It has been a week sense Kakashi first came to Konoha. And it was Kakashi's first day at the academy.

"I have to go train with Rin and Minato. If anyone hurts you, just tell me. Okay?" Obito smiled.

Kakashi nodded. "Okay. Bye, Obito!" He said as he took off running towards the academy doors.

Obito watched him and turned around, only to see Itachi there. "Hey, there buddy!" Obito grinned. "You going to the academy?"

Itachi shook his head. "I graduated early remember? What are you doing here?"

"Oh! I'm sorry!" Obito said, putting a hand on Itachi's shoulder. "And I was dropping off a friend. It's his first day."

Itachi tilted his head a bit. "You have to explain more." He said.

Obito nodded. "Walk with me! Then I'll tell you."

~~~~~~~~~
"Kakashi!" Obito yelled as he saw the silver hair come out the doors. His smile immediatly turned to a frown as he saw he was walking, head facing the ground. Obito ran towards him. "Hey, Kakashi?"
Kakashi lifted his head. "I'm sorry." He said.
"What? Why?"
"I was moved from room to room. Does that meant the teachers didn't want me there?"
Obito breathed deeply and smiled, shaking his head. "No. It just means you are to smart for them. I guess you staying up to read those scrolls has helped you a lot. So, who's class are you in?"
He shrugged. "She had a lot of red hair and gets angry easily. She's really nice, though."
"Oh! Obito!"
Obito turned and saw Kushina, Minato's wife run towards them. "Hey Miss Kushina." He smiled.
"Please, just Kushina." Then she looked at Kakashi. "You know Kakashi?"
Obito nodded. "Yep! I thought Minato-sensei told you about him."
Kakashi held up a hand in greeting. "Hello Kushina-sensei."
"She's your teacher? Wow!" Obito said. "Don't try to smart your way out of her class, okay?"
Kushina laughed. "Okay. I won't let him leave. If he rises up quickly, I'll just hand him over to Minato and you two. Deal?"
"Yep!" Obito smiled.
~~~~~~~

Kakashi ran down the street back to his house. He had forgotten his kunai pouch on the kitchen table. He kinda needed that.

"You gonna cry now? Or did you get dust in your eye again?"

"You threw sand at my face!"

Kakashi froze. He knew that voice. It was Obito.

"Real  shinobi don't cry. Real  Uchiha have a Sharingan by your age."

"Why do you have a kunai pouch for Academy students? Does Minato-sensei not think you're ready and sent you can to the Academy?"

Kakashi ran towards the voices this time. Who were those guys? Why were they being mean to Obito? he turned down a side street and heard the sound of something hard hitting another hard thing. He watched Obito's form slump against the wall, a hand on his head.

"Hey!" Kakashi yelled, gaining the other three figure's attention. "What do you think you're doing!"

"Who's this pipsqueak?"

"Hey, it's that slave you brought back with you last month."

They began to walk towards Kakashi, who was now aware he was considerable smaller than them.

"I bet he doesn't cry."

Kakashi stepped to the side, towards the wall so he could get to Obito.

"Oh, look. He's scared." One laughed. "I guess he knows who his superiors are. You should learn from the slave, Obito."

"He's not a slave." Obito said. Two of them turned to face Obito again. That's when Kakashi ran towards Obito. The third ran behind him and grabbed his hair, making Kakashi fall to the ground.

"Kakashi!" Obito yelled as he pushed himself to his feet.

"His name is scarecrow? That's pathetic!" The boy kept a hold of Kakashi's silver hair.

"I didn't tell you to go anywhere, Scarecrow."

Kakashi couldn't move. Whenever he made the smallest movement, pain flared across his scalp. It wasn't just small pricks of pain, it was many small pricks of pain all at once.

"Good boy." He laughed. "You know Obito, you should definitely learn from your slave."

"He's not a slave!" Obito said as he drew a kunai.

"I thought you took away his kunai pouch."

"I did! See. It's right here."

"Why did he have two?"

"I don't have mine on me. Draw one of the practice ones."

"It won't do any good."

"Catch!" Obito suddenly yelled.

Kakashi caught the kunai and lifted it, stabbing the hand that was holding his hair.

"OW! &#$%!!"

Kakashi jumped up and stood beside Obito, kunai held in front of him.

"Nice catch." Obito said.

Kakashi nodded. "Thanks. You okay?"

"My head's fine. I've had worse."

Kakashi narrowed his eyes a bit. "I heard you talking trash about my friend. Explain yourselves."

"We don't have to do anything you say, slave."

"Former  slave." Kakashi corrected. "Hey, I learned a new jutsu yesterday. Want to see it?"

"Of course." Obito said.

Kakashi made three simple signs. "Clone Jutsu." He said and three more Kakashi's appeared.

Obito did the same, he only came up with two. "Congrats, Kakashi." Obito said.

Kakashi smiled at him from behind his mask. "Scatter!" He said and all of the Kakashi's and Obito's went towards the three. Two jumped up onto the rooftop.

"They're going that way! Ignore the clones." The three boys ran off.

The clones disappeared accept two remained. The real Kakashi and Obito.

"You sure you're okay?" Kakashi asked.

Obito nodded. "Yeah."

"Why didn't you tell me?" Kakashi demanded, hitting Obito on the head.

"Ow...tell you what?"

"That you're being bullied!" Kakashi said.

"I-"

"Don't you dare tell me you aren't." Kakashi interrpted. "What's the Sharingan, and why don't you have it?"

Obitp breathed deeply. "I'll tell you on the way to the Academy. I was going to bring you your kunai pouch, but that happened."

Kakashi nodded. "Understandable. Let's go."
