Prologue

"Rae, stop lying you're not my mate! Why would I want an ugly, fat ass, whore of a mate like you? I'm not your mate! Hanna is." Caleb the Alpha's son and my mate said to me.

We had been in walking into the school I looked at my feet hoping I could make it through the day without being noticed. When I walked in to something that's when I felt the sparks. I looked up and saw Caleb White the soon to be alpha. He was the popular guy dating Hanna the school whore.

MATE! My wolf squealed

"You're my mate!" I said

We were broken hearted, when he said that it was the last straw. I was done here I was leaving. The only people that cared about me here where my parents, no one else did so why both with staying? I turn around and start to walk around but stop and turn back towards them.

"ya'll will all regret this! All ya'll have fucking put me through. You'll regret it! I'll make sure of that!" I said with full of pure hatred in my voice.

They all looked dumbfounded. I walked away and out of the school and out into the woods. I shifted into my wolf form it was pure white with a little brown on the ears. It was totally beautiful, unlike my human form.

My human form my mom said was beautiful. I have blonde hair, a tiny framed body, and I'm not gifted with big boobs or butt.

I get to my house I can sense that mom and dad are home. I quickly put the clothes that I kept outside on. I walked in the house with tears streaming down my face.

"what's wrong baby girl." Momma asked. She came over and pulled me into a hug.

"My mate rejected me." I said in a weak voice.

My dad growled behind his news paper then set it down and made his way over to where we were.

"Mom I can't stay here any longer." I say and dad pulls me into a hug.

"Your Aunt Caroline would like for you to go live with her. You would join her pack its little but they'll love you Rae. You can have a better life and become famous, you can finally make your dreams come true." Dad said I could tell he was on the verge of tears he was letting his 16 year old baby girl go from Texas to California.

"Okay when can I leave? I don't want to be here when they get here from school," I said

"I'll get you a plane now." He said looking sad. "Go pack."

"Okay daddy thank you." I said hugging my parents again.

I ran off to my room I started packing. I only pack essentials. I didn't want most of this stuff bad bad memory. I packed my lap top, kindle, a picture of mom, dad, and me when I was little, and the ring and necklace they gave me for my 16 birthday.

I walked down stairs with a little bag. I get down there my parents handed me a stack of $100 dollar bills

"What's this for?" I asked

"Baby we want you to have a new start and we want to help with that so that 3,000 dollars and there is a bank account we set up for you online and it has another 20,000 dollars it's your college fund but we figure you will skip that." Momma says smiling "also when you get there your aunt will have you a new cell phone no one will get that number."

"okay." I say smiling

"Let's go airplane leaves in 30 minutes." Dad said giving me a smile that didn't reach his eyes, they were full of sadness.

We go outside to my mustang. I'm gonna miss my baby. We get to the airport in about 10 minutes. I get out and we say a sad goodbye we were all crying including daddy. Then I boarded my plane. Two hours later I was getting off the airplane in sunny Hollywood. This was my new beginning my new life as Lacey Blaze.
