Dark silhouettes dance in the city lights
Loud heals hit the pavement
Presence, but no one in sight
The walls bounce off their echoes
Life gets sucked by the void
Leaving endless silence
Empty portraits move in sight
Yet still they appear faceless
Nameless strangers walk past
Cold air fills the in between spaces
Surrounded, yet still so alone
Stuck here in the darkness
