Summer of '10
"Wanna play a game?" she asked him. "Of course Spence, what do you wanna play?" he asked back. "Hide and seek!" she said like the excitable 14 year old she was. "Sure." he laughed to himself at her weirdness. "I'll hide!" she said. "Okay." he shrugged. "Yay! Thanks Cal!" Spencer said. He closed his eyes and started counting.
At about 20 seconds he heard a high pitch scream which could only belong to one person. "Spencer!" Calum screamed running around like a madman. "Calum! Help me!!!" he heard her scream. He ran towards where the sound was coming from, but sadly, no one. He saw foot prints, two different ones to be exact. One that could only be described as Spencer's all-white converse' and another belonging to someone with bigger feet than him. He could only think the worst.
He ran as fast as he could back to his house and called 911, it took 15 minutes for them to arrive and by then he was bawling. Spencer was his whole world, they had been friends since they were babies. Calum was thinking about asking her out, even though he knew she didn't like him. He just wanted to make her laugh and smile and just enjoy life. But it was all lost, until...........................
