Have you ever wished that you were the only person left on earth? I have many times, I even begged for it. You never realize what you have until it's gone. That's something you hear throughout your whole life. Until you fully experience it you'll never know how true that really is. To wake up one day and everyone you love even the people you hated or annoyed you were gone. To wake up and be completely and utterly alone. You never really understand how much you take the noise of life for granted until you're shoved into silence.
-chapter 1-
Being filled with many kids, my house was always loud. Something crashing or shouting was the noises that I typically woke up to but this time what woke me up was the sound of nothingness. The first thing I noticed when I opened my eyes was the silence. The only sound filling the small empty room was the beating of my heart. Slowly getting faster as if trying to pound a hole through my chest.
I quickly got up thinking that something must have gone wrong. I hastily dressed throwing on the cleanest clothes I could find, settling with a full black t-shirt and gray patterned shorts. I then proceeded to make my way out of my closet of a room and stepped out. Having to take two full steps to be completely in the hallway. Normally I would run into one of my sisters running from her room to the bathroom to get ready for the day but instead, I was met with a hallway filled with dead space. I simply got more confused as to where everyone would be....
