Tutor (YukioXReader) [Blue Exorcist] One Shot

You waited in your dorm room for Yukio to arrive. He was your tutor, and also your crush. The boy seemed so calm about everything, unlike his older brother, Rin. While you did your best to keep your secret feelings for Yukio hidden, Rin found out. A threat seemed to have made him keep his mouth shut, but you couldn't be entirely sure. You just hoped Yukio liked you back, or a least would still be willing to be friends.

A half hour passed and still no Yukio. Frusterated, you got and made your way to the old boy's residence. You walked down the dusty halls until you got to the the boy's room. "That's enough, Rin." You heard Yukio say firmly. You opened the door and saw Yukio sitting at his desk and Rin standing next to him. "You think you're so great just because ______ likes you!" Rin! How could he!?

You stood there, frozen. How would Yukio react? "Don't joke around, Rin. Be serious for once." Rin got angrier, "I am serious, four eyes! She's totally in love with you!" You yourself got angry. You ran up to Rin and pushed him. Then you pushed him again, and then again. Your goal was to slam him up against a wall, but Yukio pulled you back. "______, cut it out!" You pulled away from Yukio, tears in your eyes from fear. You didn't know what you were afraid of though.

"Geez, don't you think you got a bit rough?" Rin said, half joking. "Be quite, Rin." Yukio snapped. You took the moment and sneaked your way to the door. Right as you were about to slip out, Yukio took notice. "______, where are you going?" He asked, sounding a bit concerned. "I-I... I have to go..." You said as you slipped out. Once you were out of the room, you ran back to yours.

You opened the door. Thankfully you managed to get room by yourself, so no one was there. You locked the door and sat down on your bed. You couldn't tell what hurt more; the fact that Rin broke his promise or that Yukio really didn't seem to care about Rin's claim. You burried you face into a pillow. Then, you heard a knock at the door.

"______?" It was Yukio "______, are you in there? I'm sorry that I'm late for your tutoring." He called out to you, but you didn't reply. He knocked and called out to you a few more times before you heard footsteps leading away from your door. You finally were really alone. Once you were done getting ready for bed, you fell asleep.

Time Skip to tomorrows classes

You saw Yukio and Rin the next day in Demon Pharmaceuticals. As Yukio taught, Rin slipped a note. You looked at it : "Sorry about yesterday. P.S. Yukio likes you too." Just as you finished reading, Yukio took the note from you. He read it and frowned. "I need to see you after class, ______." He walked away and continued his lecture. You glared at Rin, because of him, you were going to be late to your next class.

Once the lesson was over and everyone was dismissed, you nervously sat in your seat. What was Yukio going to say? "______," Yukio said as he shifted though today's test papers, "Come here." You slowly stood up and cautiously made your way to his desk. He held up the note from Rin, "I am assuming this note came from Rin?" You nodded. Yukio sighed and rubbed his temples, "That guy..."

"He's just... Untrustworthy... For me at least. "You said, remembering the previous night. Yukio seemed to be lost in thought. "______, about what Rin said to me last night. Is it true?" He asked you. You felt your face heat up, "Well-" You got cut off when the bell rung. Yukio sighed again, "You better get to your next class, I'll write you a note."

As you were leaving, Yukio shouted, "I'll be over to your place to tutor you tonight!"

Time Skip to tutoring time

You paced nervously in your room, waiting for Yukio to come. You got saved by the bell before, but now there was nothing to save you if Yukio asked that question again. Then, there was a knock on your door. You opened and saw Yukio, but there weren't any books in his hands. "I need to speak with you, ______." He stepped in.

"I need to know wether or not Rin was lying to me." He said. You stepped back and looked down. "______... Are you in love with me?" He asked. You looked up and your eyes met with his blue ones. "Yukio," You said, in a bit of a trance, "I love you." Yukio nervous look softened. "I love you too, ______. He stepped close to you and kissed you. You wrapped your arms around his neck and his went around you waist.

When the kiss was over, you stayed in each other's embrace. You nuzzled his cheek, "Are you going to stay for a little longer?" He smiled and gave you a quick kiss, "Of course I'll stay." You two spent the rest of the night together. Yukio wasn't just your friend or tutorer anymore, he was your love and you were his.
