Duel

The clouds start to roll in as Katie's eyes swim with tears. Jake looks around as the sky gets miserably dark. "somethings wrong" Jake mutters. The weather doesn't just change like that, something dark must have done it. A scream is heard from a student not far away. Jake runs towards the scream with his wand in hand.

"Jake! No stop!" Katie yells. She runs after him with her wand out as well. "Jake Stop! We need to find the head master, something IS wrong" She yells at him but she is ignored. Jake is way to curious to listen to her. He notices a girl rolling around on the ground screaming, the bushy brown hair was recognisable. It was Hermione Granger.

"HERMIONE!" Jake yells. He runs after her.

"JAKE!" Katie screams as she runs towards him. She can see the death eater who is doing this to Hermione. She points her wand at him. "Stupefy" She says. The spell misses the death eater but his attention is now on her. Hermione starts wimpering and crying. "Come get me" Katie says with a smirk on her face. The death eater points his wand at her. Katie dives away as he casts the killing curse. "YOU GOING TO HAVE TO TRY HARDER THAN THAT YOU GIT" Katie yells at him.

"KATIE STOP" Jake yells. Katie ignores him and shots a spell back at the death eater. The death eater uses a shielding charm to block the spell.

"Silly hexes aren't good enough in this case" The death eater snarled. "Crucio" he spat as he pointed his wand at Katie.

"Protego" Katie mutters just in time. The death eater snarls at her and runs towards her. Katie points her wand up at a tree branch. "Reducto" Katie says. The tree branch shatters into a million pieces onto the death eaters head. As his sight is out she says. "Stupefy" The death eater goes flying back, stunned. Katie grins. Dumbledore and McGonagall come running out at that moment.

"Well done Miss Bell" Dumbledore says with a small smile on his face. He then lets out a sigh when he sees the death eater on the ground. "Minerva can you contact the ministry and let them know what happened?" Dumbledore asks, McGonagall nods and walks into the castle. Dumbledore than casts a spell that curses ropes to tie around the death eater.

Katie sits on a log exhausted. She had never been in a battle before and now she had it had been with a death eater. Someone with more experience then her. Jake sat next to her. "I Love you" Jake suddenly says.

"I love yo..." Katie begins to say. She then starts coughing. Blood begins to splatter out of her mouth.

"KATIE" Jake yells.

"I Love you" She says weakly with a smile. Jake feels a sharp pain in his back as well and the last thing he sees is Dumbledore and Hermione mrunning towards him. Dumbledore looked angry, he cast a spell before Jake blacked out.
