* Lexi's P.O.V *

I sat there looking down at my last few soggy cornflakes, they swiftly danced around the little bowl. I was still half asleep, sleeping just seems to get harder every night, even harder when Harry isn't here. I haven't seen him for over two weeks.

''Lexi, I'm going now, remember if you go out to lock the door and -''

''Mum I know, no parties, clean up after myself, I get it'' I sighed cutting my mum off.

''Honey, are you okay?'' A sad expression played on her face.

''I'm fine Mum, I'm just ab it tired that's all'' I shot her a little smile.

''Another nightmare?'' I nodded, another little sigh escaped my mum's mouth as she slipped the keys into my hand. ''Okay so I'll be back on Sunday, have fun'' She place a little kiss on my forehead before hastily leaving.

My mum and Dev have been home for three months now, they're deciding to take things slow for mine and Harry's sake. They act as if we're five or something. Anyways mum usually stays over at Dev's or Dev will stay at ours. Things between me and Harry are normal, I mean we have the odd arguments here and there but he's been pretty distant lately. I mean we rarely see each other but when we do it's as if he doesn't want to be there.

I let out a little yawn. I need sleep I thought to myself as I approached my room, the bed was shouting my name. I practically dived on the queen sized bed, the blankets embraced my body like a cloud floating in mid air.

* So wake me up when it's all over, when I'm wiser and I'm olde- *

The sound of my ring tone tore me from my sleep, I felt like throwing the stupid device into a bottomless pit, the first sleep I've had without a nightmare in three weeks and that stupid phone woke me. I checked the caller ID.

* Jess *

''Hello?'' I grunted.

''Hey Lex, I'm almost ready to come over and I've got something to show you'' She chimed. Shit! I forgot about our sleepover tonight. I let out a sigh. ''You forgot didn't you''

''No! I mean yes, yeah I did. Sorry Jess.''

''We could do it some other time if you want?'' She said, I could tell she was abit upset about me forgetting, we were supposed to do it like three weeks ago but Harry was here.

''No, no. Come over now.''

''Are you sure?''

''Yes, see you soon.'' I said before hanging up. I finally managed to drag myself out of bed when I heard Jess walk in.

''Lex, I'm here'' Jess' voice echoed through the house, I smiled, even though I only seen her last week I kind of missed her.

''I'm up here'' I called. Within seconds Jess was up the stairs and taking over my bedroom.

''Okay before we do anything I need to show you something'' Jess said as she pulled out her mobile phone. After clicking a few thing she handed me the white Iphone. I give her a confused look as I looked at the picture displayed on the screen.

There was a boy with brown curly hair, I knew exactly who it was even though he was faced away from the camera.

''I don't understand what this is Jess'' I said pointing towards the device in my hand.

''Look at the next picture'' A sympathetic look played on her face as I continued to change the picture.

The second picture was with the same curly haired boy walking hand in hand with a rad head. They were laughing. He looked happy and if I'm honest it tore me to pieces. I turned to the next picture, following Jess' instructions. The third picture was with Harry and the same girl kissing, her hands slung around his neck, his were securely wrapped around her waist. I felt tears start to rim on my eyes.

''There's more'' Jess sighed, as she took the phone from my hands and began to flick through more pictures, each one dug in me like a million knives.

''I've seen enough'' I whispered as I pushed the phone away from me, taking a seat on the chair beside me. I placed my head in my hands.

''Lex I'm sorry I just thought you should know'' Sympathy laced within her words.

''No, it's fine Jess. I mean it's my fault I should've known how it was going to end, this is Harry Styles we're talking about. He'll never change'' I said as tears flowed silently down my rosy cheeks.

''Come on it'll be fine, we should watch a movie with ice cream and lots of junk food'' Jess said full of enthusiasm, I agreed and we decided to watch 'Dear John'.

* The next day *

''I'm going to confront Harry, but when I get back I promise we will go to eat or something'' I told my best friend.

''Okay, but please be quick I'm starving'' She whined causing me to laugh as I exited the house. It took me about twenty minutes to walk to Harry's mums house from mine. As I approached the white door, I took a deep breath and knocked gently.

Within seconds I could see Harry through the tinted glass, my palms suddenly became sweaty. The door flew open revealing a tired looking Harry. His curly hair swept in all direction, his light grey joggers hung loosely around his waist. He had no top on, my eyes explored his tanned torso. I bit my lip.

''Like what you see?'' Harry chuckled, I wasn't here to joke it's about time we talked.

''Actually I came to talk to you, can I come in?'' I said not wanting to be pulled in with his charms. At this moment in time I just wanted to wrap my arms around him and cry. But I couldn't, he had cheated and it killed me.

''Sure, just follow me'' he grinned as he placed a kiss on my head. Harry turned around and jogged up the stairs, I shut the door behind me before I followed his actions. When I reached his room he grabbed my waist and pulled me close, his soft plump lips met mine. I didn't kiss back, instead I pulled away and looked down at my feet.

''Harry-''

''What's up with you? We haven't seen each other for two weeks and you won't even let me kiss you'' He was confused, I could tell by the expression on his face. I removed his arms from around me before continuing...

''Look Harry, I know what you've been doing when I'm not around-''

''Missing you, playing PlayStation and sleep'' Harry laughed as if it was a joke.

''No Harry listen, stop interrupting me!'' I paused, he looked shocked. ''I know about your little secret, that red headed girl.'' Harry's face dropped.

''Look Lex, it was all a mistake-''

''Yeah Harry you're right it was all a mistake wasn't it. This was all a mistake. Me and you we never really were anything were we? Now who was daft enough to think that I actually meant something to you? Who was daft enough to think that this could actually work? I actually believed you all those time you said you loved me, how stupid am I?'' I laughed to myself.

Harry just stood there looking at me, tears glazed his green orbs. It hurt me seeing him hurt and broken but this is what we've become... hurt and broken. I hesitated for a moment, I was about to ask him a question that had been playing on my mind for months. Even though I know I won't like the answer I just has to ask him, it was like pulling a thread from your favourite jumper, you know the more you pull the more it will unravel from around you but you just can't help yourself, and that what I'm like, I just can't help myself.

''You never loved me did you?'' The words left my mouth and Harry's eyes met mine but he stayed silent. A loud sigh escaped my mouth, in his silence I found my answer. I turned and made my way out of the house, I held back the tears I wasn't going to give him the satisfaction to see me cry.
