"Why did he pick our type of Alchemy?" Mason asks, irritated.
"He is the Colonel," I remind him as I kick a pebble. We walk down an alleyway, and I hear a padding sound.
"Cassandra! Mason!" a voice says behind us. We turn around, and the unmistakable figure of Assassin stands behind us.
"Assassin!" I gleefully shout, and I rush towards him.
"I would stay out of this area of I were you. Somebody's using that thing with the lighting bolts......." Assassin says, clearly explaining Alchemy.
"Alchemy?" Mason asks, intrigued by the topic.
"Yes," Assassin says, as he sniffs the air.
"They're coming," Assassin mutters as a block of cement flies and hits Assassin with such force that it sends him flying across the alleyway. His limp body hits the wall with an sickening THUD.

"Ha! We got him!" I hear from behind me. Infuriated, I rush to Assassin. Blood leaks from his head, the thick fluid pooling around my knees. I think fast, and dabble my fingers in the warm liquid, and I draw a storm transmutation circle. I then motion my hands towards the attacker, and a gust of wind blows them backwards.

"Hey! Al, there's another Alchemist here," the attacker shouts. Mason draws a polar transmutation circle, and traps us in the alley with thick ice. The temperature plummets, and I can see my breath. Assassin's breath is shaky, and I don't know how long he has until he dies. The attacker walks defiantly into a beam of light. His features come to view. He's about three inches shorter than me, but he's lean. He has blonde, braided hair and golden eyes.
"Who are you?" I ask, blood dripping from my hand.
"I'm surprised you don't know me. I'm Edward Elric, the Fullmetal Alchemist," he says, advancing towards me. I then realized, the alley was a dead end. I had nowhere to run.

I use the transmutation circle I had drawn with Assassin's blood, and rain falls onto Edward.
"Hey! That's cold!" he screams at me. I sneer, and make the downpour heavier. He claps his hands together, and the ground beneath me shakes. I'm then catapulted into the air, and I slam against the thick ice above me. I cry out in pain, and I plummet back to earth, landing on a pile of coldness.

I push myself up, and feel a warm trickle of blood go down my face. I watch as Mason dodges Edward's attacks, and sends large icicles at Edward. They were so sharp that they would impale somebody.
"Who are you people?" Edward demands.
"I'm Mason Snare. The soon to be Polar Alchemist. And that girl you nearly killed? That's my younger sister, Cassandra Snare, the also soon to be Multiblood Alchemist," Mason angrily growls. Edward's face changes as he realizes what he did.
"So what you're saying is that you're going to be State Alchemists?" Edward asks.
"Yeah, numb nut," Mason snarls.
"Then I guess we should stop,"
"Why?"
"If somebody finds out that I nearly killed two future State Alchemists, I'm a deadman for sure,"
"Then why'd you start?"
"Because I saw that beast,"
"Assassin?"
"It has a name?"
"No,"
"Cut the sarcasm. I'm a State Alchemist, which means I'm equivalent to a Major,"
"And that helps your case because?"
"You're a Private, which means I'm your superior,"
"Over my dead body,"
"Maybe not you, but your sister is a different story,"
"Shut up,"
"Make me,"
"GUYS!" I interrupt. They turn towards me.
"Oh yeah," Mason says, studying my injury.
"Are you okay?" Ed asks. I pull back as he touches my head.
"Yeah, but I'm more worried about my Chimera that you nearly killed!" I scream, and backhand him.
"Jeez, calm down, let's get you back to Central," Ed says, and uses Alchemy to bust a hole through the ice. That concluded our day in Central as official military personnel.
