ERICK's POV

After my two hour rage, I retured to the town and got ready to pack. And lucky me, Mo stopped me in the middle of the street.

"Erick? What's wrong?" She asked cupping my face in her hands.

Isighed. "Nothing, i just need to leave."

Worry overtook her features. "Why? Again?"

I nodded. "I'm sorry. Lana is in trouble."

She grimaced. "cant you stay?"

I shook my head. "No."

All of a sudden she smashed her lips against mine and all thoughts of Lana slipped away as I kissed hungirly back. It felt good to finally kiss this girl.

When she finally pulled back for a breath I heaved, "What was that for?"

She smiled softly. "It was a reason for you to stay."

Then her lips were against mine again, and we stood there for less than a minute before I led her to my house.

I carried her in my arms, and she laughed while pounding against my chest. "Put me down!" She laughed.

I kissed her again. "Not a chance, we need to talk."

She smiled. "Well what about?"

I grimaced. "Hard stuff."

She frowned. "Nothing you can say will make me love you any less." She cupped my face and ggently kissed me.

I sighed. "Where is this sudden love coming from?"

SShe shrugged. "I've been keeping it in for almot fifteen years, what do you expect?"

I pushed open the front door. "You mean you loved me since you were five?"

She smiled teasingly. "Maybe. You told me you loved me when we were five. By the way, does a five year old proposal count?"

I sat her on the couch and rubbed my forehead. 'Look, I still wan to marry you."

She grinned. "I want to marry you too."

"But-."

"But?" Her smile faded.

I took a deep breath. "My parents... they engaged me."

She gasped and remained quiet for a few moments. "To who Erick?"

"Lana." I struggled to get the word out.

Her voice grew hard and she stood. "I knew it." She spat.

I sighed nd put my hand on her shoulder. "It's not what you think. My parents engaged me."

She turned, her eyes watering. "Your parents engaged you? Not you?"

I nodded. "Yes, and in return I would protect Lana."

"Are you going to marry her?" She whimpered.

"No. Only you." I smiled.

She sighed then kissed me. "Ok then, let's go save Lana."

I hugged her. "You my friend, are a beautiful, amazing woman."

She grinned and kissed me again. "Let's go pack now."

ARCHER"S POV

She left, I should have seen that coming.

I left the hotel and went around town, asking everyone if they saw Lana.

"Daniel! Or should I say Archer?" A chilling male voice shouted.

I spun around warily and eyed the Director. "I havent lost her."

"Really?" He walked towards me." Then please explain why you look worried and are asking people if they have seen her."

I shrugged nervously. "I can find her again." I rubbed my forehead.

""Are you sure you dont need help getting rid of her?"

I shook my head. "Of course not."

"I hope you are not getting any false feelings for this girl." He said.

I shook my head. "No."

"I sure hope not, for your sake. Now do your job Mr. Morson or someone will do it for you."

The Director backed away and blended in with the crowd, leaving me to find a very stubborn Chosen One.
