"What about this? Can I wear this?" Adalynn asked Hayley, spinning around to show her outfit.

"Dude...You're just wearing skinny jeans and a We The Kings shirt. You wear stuff like that every day." Hayley replied, lounging on Adalynn's couch and stuffing her face with Oreos.

Adalynn rolled her eyes. "B-But this is so easy to wear." She said. Hayley just gave her a look. Adalynn stomped back to her room, rolling her head back and letting out a groan.

"You know that you wanna look good for your date with Harry! You should be thanking me!" Hayley laughed, yelling after Adalynn who replied with a groan.

A few moments later Adalynn returned with a new outfit. She wore a little white dress with ruffles going down the entire thing, getting bigger at the bottom. She also wore black flats and small studded earrings with her hair in the usual style. "Daaamn giirl. You're getting the D tonight." Hayley nodded, looking Adalynn's outfit up and down. "And not just any D. The D. The Styles D."

Adalynn burst out laughing, telling Hayley to shut up. "Not. Gonna happen." Adalynn laughed, pointing at Hayley.

Hayley shrugged, "You never know." She winked before checking her phone. "You should probably go like. Now. Are you gonna walk or do you need a ride?" Hayley had gotten her car back from the party the day before, surprisingly it wasn't stolen.

Adalynn sighed, biting her lip. "Imma walk." She breathed.

"Cool. I didn't wanna get up anyway. I'm just gonna...hang out here...cuz I'm too lazy to actually get up and go all the way across the hallway to my flat. Have a nice time, Love. He'll adore you, I promise." She said, giving Adalynn two thumbs up as she made her way out the door. Adalynn thanked her and said her goodbyes as she walked out of her flat and into the hallway.

The entire walk to the restaurant, Adalynn doubted herself. "He's gonna hate me." She thought. "No. He's not even gonna show up." She decided. "No. He's gonna show up, but he's gonna leave halfway through. 'Cause he's gonna hate me so much." Adalynn almost decided to run home, to the safety of her flat. Where there was no Harry Styles to judge her (Or so she thought, she obviously didn't know that he could see her no matter what). But in the end she made her way to the door of the restaurant at exactly 7, and sure enough, there stood Harry asking for his reservation at the front podium. "Well..He showed up..." She thought.

Adalynn took a deep breath and, biting her lip, approached Harry. He seemed to hear her without her saying anything, because he spun around with a grin. "Hey. I-I'm glad you could make it." He said, looking down at her as if he was proud of her. "You look beautiful." He breathed. Adalynn blushed and thanked him as the waitress showed them to their table.

Harry pulled out Adalynn's chair for her, then pushing it closer to the table, Adalynn looking down and blushing the entire time. Harry walked over to the other side of the table. "Would you like the wine list?"  The waitress asked, looking from Harry to Adalynn and then back to Harry. Harry looked at Adalynn, directing the question towards her.

"Uh I-I don't drink." Adalynn said. Harry shook his head at the waitress, who smiled, saying she would return with the menus soon. Harry looked back at Adalynn, smiling warmly.

"So, Adalynn." Harry spoke, looking down at his fingers he played with the salt shaker, "What are you doing in England? Harry asked. Adalynn had almost forgotten  that she had an American accent, nobody had asked her in a while.

"I'm um, here  for college. " She smiled, " I'm studying music." Obviously THE Harry Styles had to have some interest in music.

"Oh that's sweet! Are you gonna be like a performer?"

Adalynn laughed, "No, I'm way too quiet for that. I'm studying to be a music engineer. Like, the people who work the machines in recording studios?"

Harry nodded, "That sounds really cool. So what's your favorite band, then?" Harry asked, and Adalynn bit her lip. It would be so easy just to say, "Oh definitely One Direction." Especially since she was actually talking to Harry himself. But did she really wanna portray herself as that kind of person? What if he's creeped out by fangirls?

"Um. I don't know. I like a wide variety of stuff, I guess." She said, deciding that was safe.

Harry tilted his head slightly and looked at Adalynn, his hair falling slightly over his left eye. "Do you like my band? One Direction?"

Adalynn bit the inside of her cheek, looking away from his face. "Um. I think you guys are good. I'm just not a huge fan. I'm not really into pop at the moment." She lied. Adalynn was most definitely a huge directioner. While spending loads of time on Tumblr, she read and wrote fanfics and basically stalked the boys. Harry obviously already knew that, and was confused as to why she was lying.

"O-Oh. Yeah, I-I understand." Harry nodded, furrowing his eyebrows. He couldn't understand at all why she would lie to him, but at the same time he couldn't just confront her about it. He planned on keeping the stalking to himself, even if this relationship got serious.

The rest of the date went smoothly and both Harry and Adalynn enjoyed themselves. Harry was able to look past her lie at the moment and  after a while, Adalynn found herself able to talk normally to Harry, to be herself. He was so easy to talk to in her eyes. Harry was just happy that she was finally acting like the Adalynn he had watched for nearly two months.

Harry offered to drive Adalynn home, which she accepted, not wanting to leave Harry. She had enjoyed seeing him so much, that she didnt want the date to end. She could only hope he felt the same. As Harry pulled up in front of Adalynn's building, she started fumbling with her seatbelt. Before she could get it off she felt a rush of air, and looking up, found Harry holding the door open for her with his hand extended to help her out. Adalynn blushed and took it, standing up as gracefully as she could muster.

As they walked to the front door of the apartment building Harry still held her hand. When they got to the door, before opening it Harry took Adalynn's other hand, spinning her to face him. "I had a great time tonight." Harry whispered, staring into her eyes.

Adalynn nodded, her blush prominent, "Yeah. I did too."

Harry grinned and placed his hand under her chin. Adalynn felt her heart beat faster as she watched Harry lean in, closing his eyes. She took a deep, yet silent breath and closed her eyes as she felt him place his lips against hers.

The kiss seemed to end too soon, as Harry pulled back and smiled at Adalynn. He leaned over and opened the door for her, "I'll call you soon." He promised as Adalynn walked in. Then with a final goodbye, he was gone. Adalynn watched his car drive away with wide eyes and her fingers pressed softly against her lips. She stayed long after he left, staring where his car had drove off, frozen in shock and excitement, and still feeling the spark on her lips from the kiss.
