"Adalynn...I'm sorry." Hayley said, looking up as soon as Adalynn walked into work. Usually Adalynn got to work first, but Hayley was there first this time,

"I'm going to go write schedules." Adalynn mumbled, immediately walking to the back room. Hayley followed.

        "Adalynn!"

"What."  Adalynn refused to look at Hayley, she knew that if she did she would break down. Adalynn pushed open the back door and into the back office. She pretended to be tidying up the place where schedules were written and calls were made. She had to keep busy.

"Please, just listen to me." Adalynn didn't speak. She flipped through papers without actually reading them. "Adalynn please! Listen!"

"What, Hayley? What could you possibly have to say to me?" Adalynn snapped, finally looking up at Hayley. Hayley gulped, it was rare see Adalynn angry. It almost scared her.

"I-I wanted to apologize." Hayley said, her voice dropping. Adalynn rolled her eyes and scoffed. She turned away and started writing. "Adalynn I'm serious. Please just listen." Adalynn sighed and straightened up. She leaned back against the back wall of the room.

"Go ahead." She mumbled, crossing her arms and trying not to make eye contact.

"Adalynn I wasn't trying to break you up. I wasn't trying to get between you and Harry. I didn't mean to cause anything..I just-" Hayley sighed and covered her face with her hands. Adalynn rolled her eyes and started to walk out, but Hayley grabbed her arm. "I was just jealous, okay?!"

"How could you be jealous of me? There's absolutely no reason for you to be." Adalynn spat.

"I was jealous of you and Harry. How perfect you are for each other! All I've ever wanted was a guy to love me like that. When I saw Harry and you so...in love...I just...I couldn't stop myself. I promise  I really was trying to help you. But once I went out with Harry a few times and I got to know him...I wanted what you have. And I know that I can't have what you have and I can never have what you have. And I know that i don't deserve any sympathy or any forgiveness but I'm sorry. I'm sorry for coming between you two. I'm sorry for flipping out. I'm sorry for being jealous. I'm sorry for almost ratting you out. I'm sorry that I'm just..a terrible friend. I'm so sorry Adalynn."

Adalynn looked at the floor, her eyes dancing to meet the patterns in the ground. She sighed and rubbed her eyes."Why didn't you just tell me you were jealous. I could've toned down my excitement around you." She said, quiet like usual.

"You shouldn't have had to! All I could think about was that you had this famous boyfriend who obviously loves you and whom you obviously love and I wanted it to be me. And I know you don't think of Harry as being your 'famous' boyfriend. You just think he's Harry. And for some reason I was blind to that and I wanted..I don't know Adalynn. I'm just so sorry." Tears started rolling down Hayley's cheeks, despite her attempts to tame them. Adalynn bit her lip.

"I-I forgive you." Adalynn said. She set a hand on Hayley's shoulder, and Hayley looked up.

        "You-you what?"

"I forgive you. I understand. It's okay. You could've just told me how you felt and all of this would have been over. I never knew you wanted a boyfriend, Hayley." Hayley shrugged and exhaled loudly.

"I'll never do anything like this again, I promise."

"I know, Hayley. It's okay. Let's just get to work, okay?" Adalynn smiled and Hayley straightened up, her tears were wiped and her trademark mischievous smirk on her face was almost restored. Adalynn didn't know why, but she had a feeling that nothing like this would happen between Hayley and her, ever again.

"So apparently Hayley wants a boyfriend." Adalynn concluded. She had explained what happened between her and Hayley hile harry and her sat in his living room. Adalynn had been watching a show called Supernatural before Harry had asked her to come over,  and whens he got there she convinced  him to watch it with her. When conversation wasn't going he was paying close attention to the screen along with Adalynn, even though he didn't understand what was going on.

"Why didn't she just tell you? Isn't that all girls talk about?"

        "No..."

"So you're telling me that you don't talk about me to Hayley."

"Well...boys aren't the only thing in our conversation. But I would be lying if I said I never talked about you."

"I hope everything you're saying is pleasant." Harry said, nuzzling his head in Adalynn's neck and kissing her jaw.

"Of course, you've given me nothing unpleasant to talk about." She giggled and lightly batted at Harry. He ignored her protest and kept kissing her.

"We could hook her up." He said between kisses. Adalynn shrugged and nodded.

"I guess, but with who?" She asked. Harry pulled back slightly and Adalynn let her head fall on his shoulder. Harry kissed the top of her head.

"Ummm. My friend Niall is single...and they seem  like they would be nice together." Before Adalynn could reply the two heard the front door open. They both sat up and turned to find Niall standing there. "Speak of the devil." Harry chuckled.

"Oh. You guys are busy. I'll just be going. Sorry." Niall mumbled, looking flustered. Adalynn shook her head.

"Don't be silly, we're just hanging out. You can hang out with us." Adalynn invited. Harry glanced down at her with a slightly suspicious look, but shrugged and nodded at Niall.

"Oh um okay." Niall mumbled, making his way into the living room and sat on the chair opposite Harry and Adalynn. Adalynn smiled at him and looked back to the television, where a fight was breaking out.

"What show is this?" Niall asked.

"Supernatural." Harry replied boredly, although he seemed very interested in the bloodied fight on the screen. Niall nodded and looked at the screen for a while, even more confused as to what was going on than Harry was.

"You look really nice today, Adalynn." Niall said, smiling at her. Harry's head snapped to Niall with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh..Thanks Niall." Adalynn smiled back, not fazed by his random kindness. Harry frowned and he wrapped his arms back around Adalynn's waist, pulling her so she was basically on his lap. He tightened his arms around her, the tattoos on his arms blending with Adalynn's black shirt. Adalynn smiled up at him and Harry smiled back. He squished her cheeks together so she was pouting like a fish, before kissing her lips lightly. Adalynn giggled again, trying to shake out of Harry's grasp.

Niall cleared his throat quietly, "Actually I should be going." He said, standing up. Before the couple could say their goodbyes Niall was already gone.
