Friend of Foe?

Before i step in, i look up at Cappri. "If you just want me as a guest..why did you control my body like that?" He looks at me and frowns a bit. He didn't look angry, he just looked sad. "Because this house was not meant to have visitors." He pauses. "Every time someone comes close to the house..they run away." Aries look up at him then back at me. "You idiot, now you've made him emotional!" Cappri laughs. "No, No! was just explaining! now would you like to come in Miss?" Feeling a bit more comfortable with them, I walk in the mansion. The Interior of the mansion looked like something you'd see in a fairy tail. twin gold and white stairwells to the second floor with a red carpet perfectly in the middle of the stairs. the floor was a grey and white finish that looked like it should be used as a counter top. to hold it all together, there were pillars that were chiselled to look like stone men were holding them up. it was truly a beautiful sight. "Aries you keep her company, ill get the confectionaries." he smiles and walks into another room. i look down at Aries who was just a little shorter then me. "Hello.." He suddenly snaps. "Don't 'Hello' me missy! I'm not the one who welcomed you here! i got my eye on you!" He backs away unblinking at me. "Always watching-" Because he was not looking he backs into a wall. "I meant to do that!" and walks out of the room. I laugh a bit then look down at Spirit who was still in my arms. "Quite a lively pair wouldn't you say?" Spirit laughs. "Yep." getting restless, i walk into the other room. i see both Cappri and Aries cooking in the kitchen, it was like a father and son. "Don't get too comfortable! its not like I'm enjoying this!" Aries says to Cappri. Cappri smiles. "You may be the God of War but you really are like a fluffy bunny." Aries flinches and waves a whisk at him. "DON'T TAUNT ME OLD MAN!" I couldn't help but laugh at that. To my dismay they heard me. Cappri looks over with a kind and gentle smile. "Oh! Stella! the pastries are ready, do you wish to talk now?" 

I look at him and giggle a bit. "That was kind adorable." Aries flinches and looks away blushing from embarrassment. "Im not cute! I'm Horrifying!" I sigh and walk over. "So, were will we be talking?" Cappri smiles and takes my hand, leading me into a separate room. it was a simple room with couches and bookshelves with a coffee table in the middle. Cappri sat on the couch, setting his elbows on the coffee table with his hands cupped and covering his mouth. "Stella..i must tell you something." I blink. "What is it?" The tone of his voice shifted to a more serious tone. "Its Beatrice...she's lying to you." After hearing this my mind started to spiral down a path of realization. "Lying?...about what?" He takes a sip of his tea, it had a slight sent of camomile. "The curse, it doesn't exist. She has been using the same excuse every time there was a Star Guardian, the reason she looks that way is because she is not pure of heart." My eyes widened. how could she do this? why would she do this? "Its always the same." surprised i look over to the doorframe where Aries was standing, crossing his arms with one of his feet up against it. "She tricks the person into doing what she wants. in turn, she gets their power." Cappri sighs. "We didn't want you finding out this way...in fact..we never wanted you to be part of this in the first place." I flop down on the couch, i couldn't believe what i was hearing. "So your saying...i was being lied to all this time..?" 

The two look at each other then back at me. Cappri nods. "It might be too much to take in but..yes." I look up at them. "If everyone is lying to me, who the hell can i trust anymore?!" They frown. "We can prove to you that we are pure of heart."
