About a year ago I always saw this cat. It always looked so lonely and sad, so one day I went up at pet it. It was friendly I guess I think it was scared. Hi kitty what's your name? Elizabeth time to come inside. Ok mom coming, bye kitty. Hey mom why didn't we ever get a cat. Well because you were never old enough to take care of one and your dad was allergic. Oh do you think we can get one now? We can take the one that's always outside please. No Elizabeth it might have rabies, don't ever got near that cat. But I already went to go say hi. It's nice mom I swear. No Elizabeth end of discussion eat your food. The next morning I went to the bus stop early so I could see the cat and give it some food. It was hiding I think it was sleeping but when I came home the food was gone. I went to my friend Sarah's house after school today. She's one of my neighbors. I left her house earlier than was planned so I could get pet the cat. I got home right on time with no trace of me petting the cat. For the next few weeks I begged my mom to let me have the cat she soon began to cave, we don't have that cat but she is letting me feed it and play with it now. It's better than nothing right. The cat soon began to become my best friend and I swear it talked back to me. I named her Olivia and called her oli for short. The thing I loved most about her was her eyes. They were the brightest blue with a hit of yellow. I have never seen any like that, human or animal. Two years pass by, I am now in eighth grade, me and oli still talk but she doesn't come around as often now. It's kinda sad but I have friends to hang out with now... more than I had if the last few years after my dad died in war. I pushed everyone out but Sarah, she was my best friend and her dad was my dads best friend so she knew what happened. She was always there for me especially when that happened. I saw Olivia on the way to the bus stop this morning, I was so happy I gave her treats and it looked like she was happy too. It felt like I haven see her in years when really it was only a little over a week. I started to wonder where she went and why she was gone for so long. I guess it's not a weird thing since she's a stray. I missed her though and we talked and got all caught up. I tried to tell Sarah that Oli talked and she didn't believe me, so I took he to see Oli. She was so confused when she heard her speak and said that she was dreaming and left. At least she knows now right?
