It was a hot summer day and the Jefferson’s were having a pool party. Everyone was having fun Mr. Matt was cooking hot dogs and hamburgers, and Mrs. Julie was making coleslaw and lemonade. The guests showed up about ten minutes later, and then things went right into full swing. A scream was heard in the distant, and then the ground started to shake. Everyone turned as the fence was being knocked down by a big hulking creature that came sprinting into the yard throwing everything in its way. People were flying everywhere, but that wasn’t what was wrong. That creature had its eyes on one thing and one thing only. My wife. I had to act, and I had to act fast. So I sprinted over to my wife and stood in front of her in a protective stance. The thing kept coming though so as it got closer I prepared myself.
As it was right In front of me I swung my fist hitting it in the stomach. A pain shot up through my entire arm. The creature stared at me then threw me across the yard, and moved in on my wife. I had to do something but I couldn’t move. My whole body was in pain, and I was seconds away from passing out. The last thing I saw was my wife, her eyes staring blankly at me, as she got mauled by that horrid creature.
Then I woke up.
