When They Meet

(The next few chapters will be from 9 years ago when Gray and the others were 9 but then after these it'll take place around when lucy joins fairy tail)

Of course today was just some regular day in the guild Fairy Tail everyone was fighting and running around while their master Makerov watched until suddenly there was a lot of yelling from the classic Pyro and Icy Stripper Gray and Natsu in their 9 year old selves

"Shut up icy perv! Igneel did so teach me how to eat fire!" Natsu yelled loudly "Yeah right! it would burn your mouth! I doubt you even met a dragon!" Gray yelled back making Natsu stop looking sad he ran out

As the master saw he yelled for him to come back as Erza hit Gray in the head "OWW" Gray held his head glaring at Erza "idiot..." she mumbled watching the master get down from his seat following Natsu who ran into the woods outside Magnolia

(Time skip to natsu in the woods cause im the all powerful writer!! WHOOOSH   q(●ＵωU●)p☆*：・゜)

"Stupid Gray! Igneel did teach me!!" Natsu said angry punching a tree that had Gray's picture tied onto it but he suddenly stopped hearing Makerov yelling for him as he was walking through the forest "natsu! where are you?" he asked worried until he finally saw the pink-haired boy walking over "natsu my boy you shouldn't run like that" "but stupid gray said igneel isn't real!" natsu said sounding sad he wiped his eyes and the master sighed

"you cannot let people bother you when you know somethings true and they think its fake" the master spoke gently comforting the kid until he looked up suddenly hearing nearby bushes rustle

A little girl with blue hair running out she was short even for a 9 year old child with big iron gray eyes and black rings on her lip that looked fresh and painful with strange black markings covering her right arn she looked like she was running from something fresh tears in her eyes she tripped falling on her tiny hands and knees she looked wounded and was only wearing rags

"h-help! th-the bad men are gonna catch me!!" the girl yelled in fear starting to cry she sat on her knees covering her face and head with her arms she was shaking in fear she squieled scared of something more like terrified as makerov looked shocked and natsu stared confused as the master walked over "child its ok you have nothing to fear" he spoke gently as she looked through her fingers tears breaking through "b-b-but th-the b-bad men a-are gonna f-find me!" she said afraid suddenly hugging makerov tightly crying more

He looked surprised confused on why the girl was so afraid "hey hey I promise the bad men won't find you we can protect you" he said speaking about fairy tail as natsu ran over "yeah! im natsu we can help!" natsu spoke confidently with his classic smile as the girl started to slowly calm down letting go she wiped her tears she looked at them hopeful "y-you can? really?!" she asked as the master chuckled softly putting his hand on her head "yes we can you will be safe there"

(le nother time skip by the best writer ever! (jk) XD)

An hour or so later makerov and natsu returned to the guild only this time with a new eager member and natsu ran in first "HEY GUYS WERE BACK!! WE GOT SOMEONE NEW TOO!" natsu yelled excited as makerov walked in with the 9 year old girl but instead of rags she was wearing a blue shirt and black pants and blue shoes she walked in nervous to see so many people staring until macao, wakaba, and gildarts all yelled "SHES SO CUTE!!" they spoke laughing and she squieled covering her face as the master laughed "its ok dont worry" he reassured to her and she smiled shyly

"care to tell us your name?" erza asked with a gentle smile "u-uh! i-im saphira sacriven mam! or uh saph!" she smiled nervously sensing why everyone was afraid of her and soon after cana, levy, elfman, lisanna, mira, laxus, and erza introduced themselves along with all the other welcoming her with open arms making her smile happily meeting everyone except for one person

Gray Fullbuster watched from his stool before getting down walking over after everyone else he just stared at saph for a minute before saying somethng "whats all over your arm? are you sick?" he asked making saph look surprised and hide her arm and erza hit gray in the head "hey! dont ask things like that!" erza said angry scaring everyone "OW SORRY JEEZ!" gray said and grumbled holding his head

The master sighed but smiled seeing saph getting along well with everyone before speaking to saph "i would like to talk with you for a minute" he said and she nodded following him to another room as gray watched her walk away feeling a bit bad

Makerov shut the door behind them and sighed "i'd like to know who the bad men you were talking about were" he spoke to saph and she suddenly looked scared "well the bad men are..."

(NOPE! thats crucial to the story but you cant know yet time skip yet again but this is the last one I promise!)

After their conversation saph was sitting at her own table in the guild while everyone was laughing and fighting she felt out of place stuck in her own thoughts until she was poked in the arm suddenly getting chills she turned seeing gray "oh uh hey!" she said kinda awkward realizing she didnt know his name "hey...im sorry about earlier i should've been nicer about asking what was on your arm...im gray"
he said with a smile and she smiled back "its ok! im saph" she said back as she turned back around and gray sat across from her

at the table they almost immidiately started talking and laughing about tons of different things they agreed on obviously talking about everything immature she loved hearing about fights in her new home she was happy to be here she was going to love fairy tail
